FKOF Premiere!

Our friends at @semfree are back with Bro's wizard on the buttons @johney for their next release, and it's a tasty one. Here's the FKOF Premiere of the A-side on the record dropping tomorrow! Buy link to bag.

'SEMXX5 marks Johney’s third release on Soul Ex Machina and reinforces his role as a core member of the collective. The EP explores dubby 170 bpm halftime and deep drum and bass through a stripped-back, primal approach focused on weight, space, and control rather than excess. Built on sub pressure, repetition, and atmosphere, the release feels physical and intentional, drawing from sound system culture while remaining introspective and restrained. Dub influences appear subtly through texture and negative space, creating a hypnotic and immersive mood throughout. Johney's SEMXX5 sits between conventions, music for dark rooms and heavy systems.'

This one's a limited lathe cut and digital download dropping tomorrow, February 20th 2026. Hit the buy link!

Fresh weight incoming as @judderbassmusic present ‘Concrete Pressure', the new EP from live duo @amp-effect. Known for their hands-on hardware approach and live performance background, the pair step firmly into heavyweight bass territory for the first time, and they’re not holding back.

At the heart of the project, ‘Bundem’ delivers militant drum work, razor-sharp reeses and a sub line that lands with unapologetic force. Built on constant tension and repetition, the track thrives on distortive elements and low-end engineering that do the damage in order to lock the dancefloor in from the very first drop.

'JR008' is set for release on 20/02/2026, so hit the buy-link attached to support artist and label...

Eerie, dubby foundations as @agonuma of @numa-crew steps up with ‘Fountains’, taken from the second installment of the 'فلسطين – For Palestine Various Artists Fundraiser'. Heavy with atmosphere and restraint, this cut leans into shadowy textures and deep-rooted pressure: minimal, percy, meditative and loaded with confidence.

Following the first volume released last May, which raised and donated €1700, this new compilation continues the mission, with 100% of proceeds going to Ele Elna Elak and the Ghassan Abu Sittah Children's Fund. Organized by the curators behind the project FKOF familia @causa and @ome_dubs, mastered by @plantpowerrecords (Plantpower Mastering), and featuring artwork by Yasseen Faik and Marco Chiaramonti, the compilation lands 06/02/2026.

Sound with purpose, support the cause. Support Gaza.

Pressure returns to @infernal_sounds as @q100-beats, @ozdubs and @flokapokaa unleash another uncompromising statement from their 'Worker Bee' EP ft. T-Man. This time with the @katchaudio take on ‘Plasmatic’: a monumental follow-up to their Cruiser EP, the trio continue to blur lines between dubstep weight and killer bee artillery, operating firmly at the "sharp end" of 140.

Katch strips 'Plasmatic' down to its core and rebuilds it with raw intent, making this remix a proper soundsystem destroyer. This heavy-hitter one lands '06/02/2026', and we believe this is how 140 is done right, so support the artists and label by hitting the buy-link attached...

This sub-driven madness, restrained and razor-sharp, this production leans into minimalism while letting the reeses do the talking.

With FKOF familia @darkai on the flip, 'ARTKL084' is a collection of no-nonsense steppers that sit perfectly within the @artikal-music-uk catalogue.
