This message, as we continue in Philippians we’ll be looking at how to lead with Christ-centered leadership.

When we talk about leadership, too often people don’t see themselves as leaders, but the reality is that we are all responsible to lead ourselves. You might be responsible for leadership at work, and leadership also matters at home and in your social circles.

In this message, we’ll see several examples of leaders who honored God well.
We’ll see several leadership lessons that apply, no matter where you lead. We’ll also see the tremendous impact that one person can have when they choose to lead in a way that honors God.

We'll be continuing on chapter 2, and specifically learning about the importance of our obedience to Christ.

We'll see how as Christians, our obedience to God is an integral part of developing our faith. We'll also see several insights from this passage that are very practical for this season of life today.

It’s times like these, when we are especially reminded of the importance of community. Even when we can’t be together, Zoom calls, FaceTime, a text, or even a phone call means so much. And this is especially true for the local church.

Without unity we not only lack the necessary courage to endure the crisis with joy and hope, but we badly compromise our mission to the world. For God's people, unity in Christ is everything.

This sermon we will explore the importance of building a strong sense of unity in our church family, even in these days ahead and how this is vital to our relationship with Jesus.

This sermon, we are taking a break from our study Philippians and Pastor Ben will directly speak to what the Bible teaches about evil and suffering and how that applies to this present global pandemic.

The problem of evil is a massive subject that cannot be completely covered in a single message, but we can at least get a basic grasp of the issues and find comfort and courage in these uncertain times.

We will learn why, in times of crisis, our faith can be strengthened and refined, not diminished or destroyed.

This sermon, we'll continue our series through the book of Philippians.

In some ways, Paul’s situation in Rome, while writing his letter to the church in Philippi, parallels what is happening to us in this pandemic. He’s confined to his residence under the threat of death, with no freedom to be out and about. He’s under house arrest in iron chains with a trained killer on the other end—an elite Roman guard.

Paul’s chains are a kind of metaphor for our own pandemic "chains" with a killer on the other end—COVID-19.

Last message, we learned why Paul rejoiced in his troubles. The core passion of his life was happening--the gospel was advancing through his faith story and through fellow believers who were emboldened by his example to share Christ more openly with their neighbors.

This sermon, Paul looks to the uncertain future and we'll see why he is confident to continue to rejoicing even in his chains. Paul's example provides real and relevant wisdom for us as we navigate through this pandemic.

Last week we started a new series on the book of Philippians.

Paul was writing to his dear friends in the city of Philippi while he was under arrest in Rome.

In his letter, Paul describes how every setback and challenge in his life was an opportunity to live for Christ. Paul’s words were more than just mere theory, he wrote this letter while chained to Roman guards.

This message, as we study Philippians, we’ll learn about how to keep a Christ-centered perspective in everyday life.
