Big Idea: Throughout the Scriptures children are seen as God’s blessing not a burden. As disciples we must exemplify Christ’s love for children and serve them that they may trust in the gospel. We also must exhibit their example of humble dependence as we trust Jesus for salvation.

I. We Must Spiritually Invest in Children

· Children need to hear the gospel.

· Children need to see our faith.

· Children need to be encouraged to follow and serve Jesus.

II. We Must Emulate the Faith of Children

· We all need personal faith in Jesus for salvation.

· We all need genuine faith that fully trusts Jesus for salvation.

III. We Must Love Children as Christ Does

· We must see children as a blessing not a burden.

· We must be hands on in serving children.
