Our walk on the 3:16 Trail takes us to Matthew chapter 3:16. where Jesus is baptized. Why? What is baptism? Why is it important? Why was Jesus baptized? Obedience. We too are to be obedient, and to walk closely with God. How is your walk? Are you obeying God?

We turn to the 8th stop on our 3:16 Trail through the Bible - this time in Daniel 3 where we see three men (Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego) who refused to bow down to this world, but chose to stand up for God. What of you? Do you give in to worldly pressure, or do you stand up for Jesus?

Proverbs 3:16 tell the advantages of being close to God and walking in His Wisdom. The other side is also presented in the book of Proverbs - the way of Folly. Today we present a story of lives of wisdom and folly, and the outcome.

Our next stop on the 3:16 Trail through the Bible stops in 1 Kings 3:16 were we wee King Solomon first apply the wisdom he has just received from God. If God offered you anything what would you take? Are you asking God to make you a better person, a stronger believer, a better man or woman? It was a powerful prayer to the God who gives generously.

We then see the way that God wants us to be truthful about Him with our families - the tel the truth about how we must be with Jesus Christ in our lives. We stop next on our 3:16 Trail at Judges 3:16. Here we see one of God's Judges overpowering the Moabites to bring peace to the land for the next 80 years. Why was a Judge needed? The people failed. Then God was needed to rescue them. God will rescue you too. Just call to Him.

As they stepped into the raging Jordan River at flood time, the water not only stopped flowing, but they entire nation of Israel crossed on dry land. The waters heaped up. The people had an obstacle that they overcame and it became part of a great victory. Do you have problems in front of you? Are you feeling overwhelmed? Never forget that God is the God of the impossible.

God sees all. God is watching over all things. God is not a God of neglect and disinterest, but of life and hope and peace and joy!

Today we make out second stop on the "3:16 Trial" as we stop at Exodus 3:16 to see how God watched over those who came before us, and is watching over all things today. You are not alone. God cares and loves you dearly. You are precious to Him.
