What a Celebration! It's Easter 2018 and we have a baptism and communion to observe - plus some wonderful singing of praise to the Risen Christ!

It's Palm Sunday of 2018. The first Palm Sunday was a day when Jesus was ordered to keep silent, but it was too joyous a day, and even the rocks on the side of the road were ready to sing the Praise of the Messiah (Luke 19:40).

What a contrast to Jesus on Good Friday when He stood in silence before Pilate (John 19). His silence was powerful and resonated with great volume. Meanwhile the disciples were silent that week, but their silence was not good, but from fear and omission.

What of you? Are you controlling your silence, using it for the Kingdom of God?

Jesus stopped at a well in Samaria and meets a woman (John 4). She is offered the gift of life - life immediate and full, and life eternal. This same gift is offered to you today. The Samaritan woman accepted the gift of life from Jesus. Will you?

Today we turn to 1 Samuel 3 to consider the calling of Samuel. The older prophet Eli is with the boy Samuel when God calls him one night in the temple. What of your call? Do you help others when they are called? Are you listening for the call of God in your life?

We look at the rejection of Jesus in His hometown of Nazareth from Luke 4, and at 1 Corinthians 13 and how we need to have love instead of trying to gain spiritual gifts. Be blessed as you listen to this message on staying true to God.

Our Church Service from February 4 of 2018 where we turn to Mark chapter 1 and see Jesus as He heals many, including the mother-in-law of Simon Peter. Miracles: God working in those He loves to heal and restore. How many of us have been healed? All. Therefore we are a miracle ourselves, and we should serve Jesus as a walking miracle.
