1 Samuel 17:8 – 11 Goliath’s challenge and Israel’s response Davis sent to check on his brothers and to take care packages

1 Samuel 17:20 – 23 While there Davis hears Goliath’s mocking

1 Samuel 17:24 – 30 David wants to know what will be done for the man who defeats Goliath

1 Samuel 17:31 – 37 Davis says that God has delivered him before and will do so again

Esther 2:21 – 23 Mordecai through Esther saves the king’s life

Esther3:1 – 6 Haman promoted by the king, but because Mordecai does not bow down and give him homage, Haman seeks to kill all Jews. Haman gets the king to approve and pay for the destruction of the Jews. Mordecai learns of the plot and gets the information to Esther

Esther 4:10 & 11 Esther tells Mordecai that if she goes unsummoned she faces death

Esther 4:12 – 14 Mordecai tells Esther God will deliver Regardless, but she will not be saved if she does not act. “Perhaps she is there for such a time as this”

Esther 4:15 – 17 Esther will act but seeks prayer. Esther goes to the king uninvited. Esther plans a banquet and does not make her requests immediately

Esther 7:1 – 6 Esther makes her petition known. Jews are delivered by allowing them to protect themselves and God put dread of the Jews into their enemies

Esther 9:1 – 5 The Jews have mastery rather than their enemies

Acts 5:17 & 18 Because of the High Priest’s and leaders’ jealousy they had apostles arrested and thrown into jail

Acts 5:19 & 20 An angel of the Lord freed them and instructed them to give the whole message of Life in the Temple

Acts: 5:21 – 24 Officers were sent to bring the Apostles to the High Priest the prison was found securely locked and guards at their station but the Apostles were not there

Acts 5:25 & 26 The captain and officers went and brought the Apostles back to the proceedings

Acts 5:27 & 28 The High Priest question them and said we gave you strict orders not to speak about Jesus

Acts 5:29 – 32 Peter states that they must obey God rather than men and witnessed to those who were present

Acts 5:33 They were cut to the quick and want to kill them

Gamaliel gives counsel

Acts 5:40 The leaders accept the advice and repeat their demand that they not speak of Jesus and flogged them

Acts 5:41 The Apostles left rejoicing that they were considered worth to suffer for Jesus

Acts 5:42 They continued to teach and preach

Daniel 6:1 & 2 Darius appoints Daniel as 1 of 3 commissioners over the kingdom and Daniel distinguishes himself

Daniel 6:3 – 6 The other commissioners and leaders conspire against Daniel

Daniel 6:7 – 9 They agree to get the king to sign an injunction that no one may pray to anyone other than the king for 30 days and if they do they will be put into a lions’ den

Daniel 6:10 Daniel knowing of the injunction continues to pray to God as he has done before

Daniel 6:11 – 13 Daniel is accused of violating the injunction

Daniel 6:14 & 15 The king tries to figure away to deliver Daniel but could not

Daniel 6:16 – 18 King makes the order, but states God will deliver Daniel, but has a sleepless night

Daniel 6:19 & 20 King got up early and called out to Daniel if God was able to deliver him

Daniel 6:21 – 23 Daniel answers that an angel shut the mouths of the lions

Daniel 6:24 King orders those who accused Daniel & their children to be thrown into the lions’ den and they do not survive even to the bottom

Daniel 6:25 – 27 King makes a decree that all people in the kingdom are to fear and tremble before the God of Daniel

Daniel 3:1 – 7 King Nebuchadnezzar made of statue of gold of himself and decreed that everyone was to bow and worship his image when musical instruments were played

Daniel 3:8 - 12 Three Hebrews were reported to not have worshipped the gods of Nebuchadnezzar or his statue as ordered

Daniel 3:13 – 15 The three Hebrews were arrested and given an opportunity to change their actions and worship as ordered

Daniel 3:16 – 18 The 3 Hebrews set their feet. God is able to deliver, but even if He does not, we will not serve your gods or worship your statue

Daniel 3:19 – 23 Nebuchadnezzar filled with wrath and has them thrown into the fire after made even hotter

Daniel 3:24 – 27 Four are seen in the fire and it as no effect on the 3 Hebrews

Daniel 3:28 – 30 The king praises God and decrees anyone who speaks offensively about God is to be punished

Ephesians 3:20 God is able to do far more than we can ask or think

Luke 2:1 – 5 Census was ordered by Caesar Augustus so Joseph and Mary go to Bethlehem to register (God moves rulers)

Luke 2:6 & 7 While in Bethlehem Mary delivers her first born son (The Son of God) and puts Him in a manger (No room in the inn)

Luke 2:8 – 12 Angel announces to shepherds the birth of the Messiah and how to find Him

Luke 2:13 & 14 A multitude of angels praise God

Luke 2:15 & 16 Shepherds go to find the Child

Luke 2:17 – 20 Shepherds tell of the statement from the Angel about the Child. But Mary treasures and ponders these things

Luke 2:21 – 24 Jesus circumcised and then presented to the Lord

Luke 2:25 – 37 Simeon states that the Child is the “Light of Revelation to the Gentiles” and Anna says He is the One that those who are looking for the “Redemption of Jerusalem”
