Today we're going to check in with our 11th grade Sunday school teachers, Felicia, Jon, and Joyce -- and we did an online Q&A session for our students during this time of COVID-19.
Felicia: How can I evangelize/witness during this time of mandatory social distancing?
1. Social Media and Intentional conversations (Colossians 4:2-6)
- Conversations (seasoned with salt)
- Listen and have compassion
2. Home Life (Philippians 2:1-11)
- Showing Christ’s sacrificial love
Main Point: Share the hope and joy we have in Christ through what God has gifted us with (technology, more time, less distractions).

Jon: Why do we become disappointed? Putting our hopes in expectations that do not come to fruition.
1. What should define our greatest hope? Revelation 22:1-5 - fellowship with God and Christ.
2. How should we react when we are disappointed? Ephesians 2:10 - We are God's workmanship and hence, all results in life are God working in us for redemption and ultimately Rev. 22:1-5.
Joyce: How do I handle rejection from college?
- Personal example of how God is sovereign in our circumstances
- Inspired from the book Trusting God:
1. God is perfectly in control (Psalm 115:3, Colossians 1:16-17)
2. God works for good (Romans 8:28)
Main Idea: Find hope in trusting God (that failures and disappointments in life are still under His control and all part of His sovereign plan for our good and His glory).
