In this series, we're exploring the life of a very important figure in the OT story, a man named David. David was a poet, warrior, and king. He's also given the incredible designation of man after God's own heart. He has a strong legacy, but his story is also very complicated. So, for the next several weeks, we'll explore the life of David learning more about his story as well as our own, and what it means to be people who are pursuing God.

In this episode, you'll hear from Jericho as she concludes our series "Who is This Man" by looking at the title of Messiah and how that applies to Jesus. She unpacks the meaning of Messiah in the biblical story, and ultimately, what it means to experience new life as we step into God's kingdom NOW. Because Jesus invites us to experience a life of grace and purpose that's found in him.

This episode is from our Easter services. We continue in our series Who is this Man and look at Jesus as our savior. Scott looks at the core elements of the message of the gospel : that Jesus died, was buried, and raised. And what we discover is this is where hope lies. Easter gives us a look into the future of what God is doing. We learn that Jesus is the Christ, the risen and exalted king, and is making all things new

This episode is from a really special weekend at FCC. It's week three of our series Who is this man, and also happens to be Palm Sunday. We talk about the meaning of Palm Sunday and the start of Holy week as well as look at the title of Jesus as King. The invitation given is for us to acknowledge Jesus as King and be part of his kingdom. Here we experience the good news of the gospel where God is now king through Jesus. We celebrate that at the end of the message with baptisms.

This episode is week 2 of our new series, "Who is This Man?" We are exploring and wrestling with who Jesus is. And we're doing that by looking at some of the titles given to him in the New Testament. This message looks at the title of God. What does it mean that Jesus is the Son of God? We unpack this idea and ultimately wrestle with the fact that following Jesus is about living in the tension...of both God and humanity, and of grace and truth.

Our hope is to center this conversation on our posture as followers Jesus. This first message is a bit of an overview and grapples with some ideas about sex and sexuality in our culture. We discuss the difference between being consumers or cultivators and also look at what it means to be a church that operates in Center Set Model, which has some incredible implications for how we love Jesus and one another.

This episode is the final message from our series, Origins, and we look at the call of Abram and Israel in Genesis 12. The first part of the message recaps our series so far and what we've learned from Genesis 1-11. Then, it invites us to see the connection this part of the Bible has with Jesus and the church. We learn that the church is sent by Jesus to the ends of the earth and to all nations. And the scattering of Israel paved the way.

The big takeaway is, God’s response to the world in which we live is to form a missional people...and all of us are invited to be part of that movement.
