In this episode, we look at a famous story in the beginning of Genesis: Noah and the flood. We explore three great questions as we think through the story: What does this teach us about people? What does this teach us about God? And what does this mean for how we live today?

In this episode, we continue in our series Origins, based on the first 11 chapters of the book of Genesis. We look at the story of Cain and Abel in Genesis 4. Ultimately, it's a story about how we treat one another and the story challenges the narrative of individualism that is so present in our world. We answer the question "Am I my Brother's Keeper?" by looking at Jesus' teaching on love.

In this episode, we jump into a brand new series called Origins based on Genesis 1-11. The truth is, we tend to read Genesis like it was written today, when it wasn't. So, part of our goal in this series will be to read it the way it was written. In this first message, we learn that Genesis 1 begins with a incredibly important point for the entire narrative of the Bible: identity and worship in God's good creation.

By looking at the life of John the Baptist as a model of preparation, purpose, and calling, we ask the question, "How can we be a people prepared for the Lord?" We share some thoughts on creating space for God to work and cultivate newness and focus in us both individually as collectively as a church.

This episode is from our Christmas Eve service where we conclude our series "Everyone. Everywhere." This message focuses on the story of Christmas and the birth of King Jesus the Messiah. We learn that that like all good stories, it all hinges on what happens in the middle. Because the middle is always when hope is born.

This episode is the third week in our series "Everyone. Everyone." Once again, we look at the title of Messiah as it pertains to Jesus and the Christmas story. We do this by looking at a few passages known as the "Servant Songs" in the book of Isaiah. We learn that Jesus is the perfect embodiment of the servant Isaiah writes about...but also what it means to be people of the Messiah who follow Jesus' example.

In this episode, we continue in our Christmas series Everyone, Everywhere by looking at the Joy of Christmas. This message examines the meaning behind the title of Jesus as the Messiah, the "Anointed One." The message reflects  on the prophecy in the book of Isaiah given to King Ahaz and the connection found at the birth of Jesus. Ahaz responded in fear, while Joseph responded in trust. The Christmas story reminds us that Christianity is a way of life that finds peace and joy as we patiently endure.

In this episode, we kick off our Christmas series Everyone, Everywhere by looking at the "mission of Christmas." The origins of this mission are found in the OT--which we do an overview of--but it brings us to God sending Jesus and the truth of the incarnation. Jesus shows us the fullness of life lived in grace and truth. Christmas reminds us of the mission of the church to partner with God and embody this way of life.
