This episode is the sixth episode in a series of episodes on my newest book, Fearfully and Wonderfully Me: Become the Woman You are Destined to Be. In this episode, I share the concept of creating your identity based on your values, rather than the "hats" you wear or the "roles" you have in your life. Because, the hats we wear in life (mother, manager at work, spouse, etc) aren't constant - they will change as the seasons of life change. And, when they do, it's critical for our sense of self-worth that we haven't built our entire identity around a role.
In this episode, I explore how self-worth (or lack of it) is heavily influenced by our identity. When we center that identity around the wrong things, we won't have a firm foundation for our self-worth. But, you can intentionally create your identity and that allows you to step fully into purpose.
This episode is the fifth episode in a series of episodes on my newest book, Fearfully and Wonderfully Me: Become the Woman You are Destined to Be.
This episode is the fourth episode in a series of episodes on my newest book, Fearfully and Wonderfully Me: Become the Woman You are Destined to Be. In this episode, we explore how self-worth (or lack of it) determines much of our behavior. I share an example of how my lack of self-worth held me back and how I was able to overcome that.

Viktor Frankl was a Holocaust survivor in WWII, losing his parents, brother, and his wife, who was pregnant with their child. After liberation, he wrote "Man's Search for Meaning," and went on to become a world famous psychologist. This episode is based on some of my notes and favorite quotes of his from a recent book, "Yes to Life: In Spite of Everything," released after Frankl's death and based on his lectures.
All of us want to help the people around us, but sometimes when we give advice or offer feedback, it ends up frustrating one or both people in the scenario. In this episode, I talk about the differences between just giving feedback or advice, and coaching someone to a solution. And, how constructive coaching can develop the individual, identify a more effective solution, and increase your influence in the scenario.
In this episode, I share some thoughts from my newest book, Fearfully and Wonderfully Me: Become the Woman You are Destined to Be. Because, becoming the woman and leader you have potential to be requires growth and transformation. It's not easy - but it is possible!
In this episode, I break down why it's important to be growth oriented but even more so during times of crisis. And, how a growth mindset can accelerate our growth in a crisis. The season of life has changed drastically and unexpectedly from what we thought 2020 was going to be, but those with a growth mindset can come out of this time stronger and better.
