If you think this thought sometimes, or indeed often, you're invited to listen in to this episode and apply some alternative thinking to it.

The thought is this:

‘I’m not as technically competent as others in my team are. My contribution isn’t as big here’.

This thought is a lie. It correlates contribution with technical expertise which is inaccurate.

Of course, technical expertise is incredibly important but standing alone, expertise is not the basis on which client's problems are solved. If you have yourself pegged as the less technical of your peers, this episode is an invitation to think about what your contribution in the round is, if not technical.

In this episode, I'm sharing a concept I have for thinking about the lines of responsibility that we're involved in or have complete responsibility for.

It's all well and good saying, just be yourself and don't be untrue to who you really are.

But who you really are is something that's constantly changing. And sometimes, stretching into the next version of yourself is exactly what the situation you're in requires you to do.

Does that mean you're faking?

Maybe. But maybe not. Tune in today to hear how to go about what you're doing in a way that won't leave you feeling fake or inauthentic and still allows you to grow.
