Are you coming to Coach School?! If you've ever wondered how a coaching certification can help you in your career, then this episode is for you! Here's what one of our RAYMA Foundations™ Certified Coaches has to say about her experience:
"For a couple years, I had been keeping my eyes open for a course or program that I could participate in to work on my leadership skills, further my knowledge about myself and meet other people in a similar spot in their careers. I luckily found the perfect fit with RAYMA Team® and now I'm a RAYMA Foundations™ Certified Coach. I'm very proud of this program and my accomplishments and can't wait to start coaching others! For now, I will be focusing on AARC staff but in the future I plan to coach others as well. I am so blessed and grateful that this program came in to my life at the time it did." ~Michelle Erickson, RAYMA Foundations™ Certified Coach & Director of Abused Adult Resource Center, Bismarck, ND

Hey, fearless feminine leaders. Welcome back to the show. You might be looking at this episode and wondering why it's so short. And we'll just tell you right now because it's not a full episode. It's basically just an announcement of what to expect in the summer months of 2025 with the podcast. So we're going to be actually taking a break from the podcast, um, so that we can put some of our focus on some of the things we have coming up and some of the things going on with our clients and some events and programs that we have. But we do plan to be back in the fall, probably one episode a month. Don't you think, Raychel?
I think one is good to promise.
Yes. One for sure. At least one a month.
Yes, yes. But in the meantime, we wanna invite you to come follow us on Facebook. Um, and, uh, watch, because we are bringing back something on Facebook that we haven't done for years. I think we do it from time to time, just very sporadically. And it is a live video series called Coffee with the Coaches.
So Raychel, what were some of the ideas that you have for what that could be?
So, coffee with the coaches is generally once a week we're going on live. We have not figured out days or times or anything like that, so that's why you should join the page 'cause then you can find out what we're doing. Um, but usually we would just kind of sit and talk about what's going on at, at the office, ways that you can get involved. I thought it'd be really fun... so if you guys don't already know this, which you probably don't, on Mondays, Mandy and I have what we call bestie coffee date, and it's half marketing meeting, half catch up over what happened over the weekend and just be best friends for a while. And we drive all over town. We have a very specific route that Mandy drives. Takes us about an hour and a half and it's one of the meetings that very rarely comes off of our week. And I see coffee with the coaches a little bit like that, where we are talking about what happened over the weekend.
Um, maybe some of the things that we are seeing in our own personal lives or even here at the company that fit into RAYMA Foundations and some of the principles that we're teaching and how we're seeing this play out.
That's what I was thinking too. Doesn't that sound fun?
We'll probably never do it, like come with us on our coffee or our bestie drive.
No, probably not. Because that's just not safe.
No, it's probably not even legal. No. And I'd probably have to hold the thing the whole time.
Don't do that.
We're gonna talk about what's going on at, RAYMA Team and ways that you can be getting involved in upcoming stuff that's going on. So that's what we're gonna do for the summer. And honestly, if it goes well, we might even continue it into the fall too. We might, we'll just have to see. But what that means for you is if you are not following us on Facebook, please go to the show notes.
I will have the link to our Facebook page right there.
Um, I was also thinking like, I wonder how this works on LinkedIn. We're gonna have to look into that because I don't know, can you go live on LinkedIn? I don't know. I think put the You can, but I'm not sure. But we could put the videos, we'll probably put videos and on LinkedIn at some point we might even figure out how to do Instagram and Facebook at the same time.
We used to do that. We used to, but you know, we, so we have been going live, um, the last couple days. Several times actually with some of our marketing partners for the upcoming Boss Up event that we're having for women here in Manad, North Dakota. And what we realized is we used to go live all the time, like five, six years ago, especially before we became RAYMA Team.
And even through the whole rebrand process. Um, and the last couple years since we haven't been going live, here's what's happened. Our talking abilities are still, are still up to par. Right. We can sit down and have a conversation and talk about all these things. We don't need a script. We don't need a script for that.
But our technical rustiness has been showing up because Facebook has changed how they do lives so much. Mm-hmm. And yeah, so anyway, we will figure it out, but I think. The thing for you to take away today is to join us on Facebook for our weekly. It will only be one day a week, um, weekly live coffee with the coaches sessions that we will be doing over the summer instead of the podcast.
And then we look forward to coming back to new podcast episodes in the fall, for sure. One a month. We'll see what happens from there. Alright, have a fabulous summer. We'll see you soon. Bye.
Get ready Fearless Feminine Leaders! Today we are continuing the conversation from a few episodes ago (episode #141) on the topic of gender dynamics in leadership. Hello, Fearless Feminine Leaders! Today we are tackling the question of:
"How can I help my staff with self-awareness?"
This was a question sent in for our Lead Like A Rockstar event, and we loved it so much we wanted to share it with you, too.
Write this down: The #1 thing sabotaging your leadership is a lack of self-awareness. This is true whether you are a business owner, a manager, an employee that wants to be a leader some day, or even just an individual who wants to grow in your leadership skills to lead yourself!
We've got 3 ways you can help your team members with self-awareness. Let's dive in...

Alright Fearless Feminine Leaders, in honor of Women's History Month, we are tackling a topic today that might seem controversial in today’s atmosphere. However, it’s more important than you realize. So let’s dive in… Today’s topic is called:
What Are Gender Dynamics in Leadership and Why Should You Care?

Welcome back Fearless, Feminine Leaders!
We just finished our annual Lead Like A Rockstar event (on February 22, 2025). It was an amazing day of growth and connection where we taught attendees the qualities needed to step into the shoes of a rockstar leader.
One of the things we do with this event is this: We give attendees a chance to have a say in what the content is for the day by sending in a question ahead of time. That way we can make sure to address something that might not be in the original lineup of training for the day. One question that came in was about servant leadership, and we knew we HAD to make this a podcast episode! Here’s what one business owner asked us:
"What is your best advice on building a team of servant leaders?"
We were stoked to see this question, because we have an interesting relationship with the “servant leadership” concept. So let's talk about it...

Today's topic came in from one of our Podsquad members. This listener is a business owner who also homeschool’s her kids. She says this:
“I struggle with always feeling like I should be doing the opposite of what I am. Like if I’m working with my kids during the day, I feel like I should be working on my business. And vice versa. It’s getting less but I know it’ll come back with my busy season!”
Listen in to find out what worked for us when we felt that way in the early years of our business!
Final Thought: Give yourself permission to be present. To try different things that help you create healthy boundaries around your work time v. home/personal/family time.
