To live generously is to be truly free and fearless in the Lord, and yet we often struggle to show such gratitude. We quickly forget how God rightly owns all and graciously gives all. But our fears dissolve when we grasp, like Abraham, the full extent of God’s promise in the priestly ministry of Melchizedek. Christ has pledged himself to us eternally, so we can give everything without fear.
