Are you losing hope or becoming impatient in the waiting? One of the most trying things in our relationship with our Father are the seasons of waiting. These are the times the Lord uses to grow and mature us for the next season ahead and can often leave us feeling stagnant. In this weeks podcast, Pastor Jeremy Johnson delves into the first Palm Sunday for a word to encourage you in the waiting.
Our Heavenly Father is always working in our lives, even when we are focused on things of the Kingdom. We can become so focused on "our goals" that we forget to thank God for all He has done and is doing. We could be sitting in our answered prayers and completely look past the blessings. In this podcast, Pastor Christy Johnson reminds us that the basics of gratitude are the foundation that help us be thankful in the storms that come.
As believers we can focus on the outward sin and over look the things we lack on the inside. The word reminds us to be doers of the word instead of just hearers of the word. It takes developing discipline and being steadfast in trusting the Lord so that He may root things out of us that hinder us from growing in our calling. In this encouraging message Pastor Christy Johnson shows us the difference between being hearers of the word and doers of the word with the parable of the house being built on sand.
Marriage was not created by man, it was created by God. One of the hardest things about marriage is communication between spouses. Men and women think and process things differently and learning how to communicate is an ongoing experience. Guest Speaker Tom Smith, Author of "When the Vow Breaks", dives deep into the Godly communication aspects of marriage and relationships in this podcast.
Our anger was meant to be managed not muted. As believers we often times find ourselves torn between expressing our anger and bottling it up. As we continue our series Feeding the Monster this week Pastor Christy tackles the anger monster.
Christ set us free so that we may know what it is to be free from sin. Often times our flesh will tend to rise against our spirit and cause conflict within. As believers we choose between feeding our flesh or feeding our spirit. In this podcast Pastor Christy Johnson unpacks biblical truth to help you feed your spirit to conquer your flesh.
We often times can forget some of our blessings require our participation, obedience, and sacrifice. The Lord will call us to sow into our dreams in order to stretch our faith and draw us closer to Him. Guest Speaker Pastor Glen Berteau speaks on the principal of Seed time and Harvest. In this podcast Pastor Berteau unpacks what it means to operate in this area, and the spiritual growth that comes with it.
The hardest part between where we are and reaching our purpose is the middle. The journey can be the most taxing and trying times in our lives. As believers we are called to give worship in the middle and it is our Focus on Christ and his kingdom that drives us forward. Our God given dreams were only meant to quench our thirst not become the things that give us life. In this podcast you you'll be encouraged to continue to worship even when things don't look good and pursue Christ even when your dreams want to consume your focus.
At our core we are spirit that lives in a body and has a soul making us tri-polar. Sometimes we can find ourselves strong in one and not the others hindering us from growing in our relationship with Christ. Focusing in on Christ will not only grow us but we can find rest in Christ. We need to shift our position from serving Christ to serving at the Feet of Christ. It is in that position that we will not find our identity in the dream but rather in Christ. In this Podcast you will be encouraged to return to the feet of Jesus and understand what it means to have relationship.
As Dreamers we run the risk of falling in love with the dream instead of the one who gave us the dream. The word reminds us to allow the Lord to build so that we do not labor in vain. When we walk our lives for the dream we will burn out because their is no rest without Christ. In this podcast you will be encouraged to return your focus to the one who gave you the Dream.
