My interest in the paranormal ranges from spirit investigation to ufos and all in between. I went through the law enforcement program at Kalamazoo Valley Community college.Upon graduation, I joined the Navy and served until 1986. In 1986, I graduated from Pima Community College in 1990 with a bachelor’s degree in Art / Cartooning in Tuscon, Arizona. In 1993, we moved to Atlanta Georgia where I began my career in law enforcement and private security. I worked the Olympics and was also trained at the Georgia State Police post in Marietta. I have been trained as an investigator and well versed in surveillance and evidence collection techniques. In the beginning of 2008, I began paranormal investigations In August of 2008, I founded the group assembled here today (SMP).

Experience:

I am a private security enforcement officer MFR / EMT and father of four awesome children, I am married to my best friend! I have had paranormal experiences all of my life. I have discovered my talent for intuitiveness and the drive and need to help in this field of paranormal investigation. I bring my experiences and training to the team as well as the management skills required to run such a group in a fair and honest manner. The 40 plus years of real experience in the paranormal has helped me understand that something more is out there, and we have an obligation and duty to ourselves and others, through scientific and metaphysical means to help document and tell the story of those no longer on this plain of existence.

Stan Gordon’s lifelong interest in UFO and other phenomena began after receiving an AM radio for his 10th birthday.

Since 1965, Stan has conducted On Scene Investigations of thousands of mysterious encounters across Pennsylvania. Stan gained prominence in the field of UFO research as the authority on The Kecksburg UFO Incident. He is also well regarded in the area of paranormal research with his first hand investigation into a series of documented Bigfoot encounters and UFO sightings that occurred throughout Pennsylvania in 1973.

Stan created the Westmoreland County UFO Study Group in 1970 which expanded into the Pennsylvania Center for UFO Research in 1975. Stan served as State Director of the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) during the 1970’s. In 1981, Stan founded and served as Director of the Pennsylvania Association for the Study of the Unexplained as well as editor of the PASU Data Exchange, a newsletter covering cases of phenomena investigated in Pennsylvania. PASU consisted of an all volunteer research unit which ceased operation in November of 1993

In 1998, Stan Gordon produced and released a 92 minute video documentary on the Kecksburg Incident entitled Kecksburg: The Untold Story; winner of the 1998 EBE film award for Best Historical UFO Documentary by the 8th Annual International UFO Congress.

Stan Gordon remains active in the field as an independent researcher and investigator as time permits. He also continues to investigate information concerning the UFO crash and retrieval case near Kecksburg, PA on December 5, 1965

Kathy is a very strong woman who has been through more than anyone else I know. In this book “Waking up to the Devil a Haunting in Massachusetts” Kathy describes in detail numerous horrific painful events that took place in her home for close to four years. Little did she know until she began to write this book is that the demonic entity was probably attached to her most of her life. When she renovated, and then became very ill it appears the demon came in for the kill. How she got through that horror alone for all that time is simply a miracle. Kathy has always been protective of her sons and now her little granddaughter and adores her family. She claims that if it were not for God’s intervention she would probably be deceased now. Kathy states “Thank God for coming to my aid during my battle with evil.”

Born and raised in Greensburg Pennsylvania, Eric is the director of the Pennsylvania Bigfoot Society. Has 27 years experience studying Bigfoot and Cryptids. He is also the chairman and organizer of the East Coast Bigfoot Conference.

In addition to the above Eric serves as a consultant on Bigfoot and Cryptozoology for several research groups including Center For Unexplained Events, Paranormal Society of Pennsylvania, Paranexus, as well a proud member of Anomolis Investigations, C.U.E., the Northeast Sasquatch Research Association, Mid America Bigfoot Research Center, Eastern Ohio Bigfoot Investigation Center as well as others.

Lectures on Bigfoot all across the eastern United States and has been to Northern California, Oregon, Texas, Ohio, Maryland, West Virginia on investigations.

We here at S.P.O.O.K.S. have something of a different philosophy than many of our contemporaries. We believe most paranormal phenomena is directly connected to certain psychological dynamics. One woud be emotions, this can have great influence on how violent the PK , psychokinetic, ie paranormal activity will be. We also believe that these "ghosts, spirits, shadow-folk etc." while normally tied to a specific location (such as a haunted house or cemetery) can be activated by certain personality types, expectations, ritual and so much more. We use our understanding of all religions and esoteric knowledge to work within the belief systems of our clients. This ensures that you are comfortable but more importantly by using your already established belief we make the "entity" submit to the rules of your faith.

So what does this all mean? It means we look at all the angles when we investigate. We look into location history (was there violence on the property, extreme emotional experiences, geomagnetic or industrial concerns?), we look into the history of the sightings as far back as we can go. We take your perceptions into account because You are the one experiencing these phenomena. We look for other cases with similar sightings and behavior and look if there was a resolution we could use. What is the difference?

We are commited to the research of the anomolous, strange, paranormal, supernatural, Fortean etc. experiences it is a personal passion. It is the only thing i do. We are located in Springfield, Missouri and have been around as a group since 2005 but I personally have been active for 18 years in the field and spent 23 in research.

Ellis Byrd is from Swindon, England. Grew up in the very active “Southwest” of England, close to Stonehenge and Avebury stone circles, and within an hour of Glastonbury. Ellis Byrd had his first experience at the age of 6 when he and his family witnessed a male standing in the middle of a country road near Purton Wiltshire. When his father put the headlights on full beam, the man disappeared. Ellis had also spent time in Pluckley Kent. Pluckley was voted “Most Haunted Village in England” where he witnessed the haunted bell and the screaming man of the brickyard.

Byrd came to the USA in 1986. Experiences in the US consisted of witnessing 2 men in his bedroom; later to find out this was the site of a murder in the late 1800’s.

Ellis has also worked closely with many famous locations and renowned names in the field. Ellis is coordinating all aspects of the “Haunted Bissman Building Tours” and future paranormal convention location, both in Mansfield Ohio. Ellis does weekly radio shows on all aspects of the paranormal. Ellis was the “Host” for GHOSTHUNTERS that will air in Oct. of 2010.

The Gussethunters Paranormal have been lucky to building managers for three haunted locations. Setting up tours of the locations in Central Ohio. The most recent location is the “Haunted Bissman Building” in Mansfield Ohio. Tours have been running for over a year now and the location is very active. Within the last month the building have revealed some shocking details on what is haunting the building. Both Wallace and Byrd share the speaking duties on the tours. The night starts with a short PowerPoint presentation, followed by an explanation of the equipment used in a normal paranormal investigation. This is followed by about a 2 hour tour of the 5 story building with stops at the most active sites. After a short break, the guests split and investigate the building for the rest of the night. The building is often in a lockdown situation.
