  • Author of the Fun of Dying Roberta Grimes joins the Fearless Ghosthunter tonight
Popular television shows like Ghost Hunters and Paranormal State capitalize on the morbid curiosity many people harbor about death. Audiences watch week after week trying to catch a fleeting glimpse of a spirit, hoping to gain some insight into the mysteries of the afterlife. Both frightening and compelling, dying remains the ultimate uncharted territory for humanity. But according to author Roberta Grimes, the truth about death isn’t all that mysterious—or frightening.
Her new book, The Fun of Dying: Find Out What Really Happens Next! (Greater Reality Publications, 978-0-9802111-1-5, 2010, $14.95), explains what she says is the reality of what happens before, during and after death. Backed by evidence from scientists who study different aspects of death, Grimes breaks the complex process down so readers can overcome their fear of dying—and what happens after.
“A century-and-a-half of detailed and consistent evidence makes it easy to piece together how death happens and why, for most of us, it is the best time of our lives,” Grimes says. “Immediately we are young and healthy and laughing in the arms of long-lost loved ones.”
The Fun of Dying: Find Out What Really Happens Next! presents a brighter reality of death, weaving together elements from quantum physics to electronic voice phenomena to reveal the truth about how death happens, how it feels and what comes next. Grimes employs studies from scientists like Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, Raymond Moody and Gary Schwartz, along with decades of personal accounts from those who have experienced or witnessed events dealing with the afterlife, to explain why the “ultimate end” is not the end after all. Her use of numerous accounts of near-death experiences and details from those who witnessed others’ deaths explains what she calls the “after-death life.”

    1) Residual Activity
    2) Intellegent Activity

Our team of investigators faced a fear in one specific case that we will be sharing on this evening on the Fearless Ghost Hunter Show.
We will also be bring to the air with us our survivor of one of our most active case's to date.
This guest we will be bringing was suffering from a demonic influence, and the happenings throughout her case is quite amazing. The evidence captured from her case, and the personal experiences that occurred were quite frightning. Mid Michigan Paranormal Investigators have stood by our clients side and have been working hard to further the study into demon activity that plagued our client and her family. We will also discuss some of the happenings to our members prior to the Deliverence. This was by far the most terrifying case we have ever worked on. We will also be talking about some of the residual energy left from the event, like any storm there is always a path of disaster.

  • Authors Beverlee Rydel and Kathleen Tedsen Join the Fearless Ghosthunter tonight
    Kathleen Tedsen and Beverlee Rydel.
Kat and Bev continue their search into the world of the paranormal with their second book, Haunted Travels of Michigan, Volume II. This follows the success of their first, Haunted Travels of Michigan that received the 2009 IPPA Award for "Best Paranormal/Educational Book and Authors."
Over the past two years the authors have traveled more than 10,000 miles. They have been on scores of investigations to find ten of Michigan’s most fascinating stories for their new book.
Kat and Bev are not new to writing. Since 1991 they have authored the Michigan Vacation Guide series. It was placed on the Secretary of State’s “Read Michigan” list in 1995 and remains one of Michigan’s most comprehensive publications on unique places to stay in the state.
With their new paranormal book series the authors approach each investigation with a skeptics eye. To Bev and Kat it’s more than just the haunting, but the history of the location and lives of the people from the past that create the haunting.
The authors want to share their investigative experiences with the reader and take them into the ghost hunt. To accomplish this, each story contains a password that allows access to Secret Rooms on their website. In the Secret Room readers can see photographs, video and audio of evidence collected during the investigation and behind-the-scenes of the hunt.
Over the years Kat and Bev have been featured guests on numerous radio shows and television shows, including PBS TV’s Michigan Magazine. They have also been guest speakers at various paranormal conferences. In addition, their speaking engagements include presentations at libraries, charitable events and historic locations across the state.
The authors began their paranormal journey as skeptics. Today they know that in many cases there is something out there that cannot be explained. Something paranormal.
They continue their search into the unknown.

  • Author CJ Henderson joins the Fearless Ghosthunter Show tonight
C.J. Henderson's early days were spent in the Midwest. The family moved around for the first few years of his life until finally settling in Western Pennsylvania, in Bridgeville (officially known by the sign at its entrance as, appropriately, the Town of Many Bridges), a small town outside of Pittsburgh. High school and college kept him in the general area, but shortly thereafter it was on to the big city, more specifically, New York City (officially known by the sign at its entrance as, appropriately, the Town That Doesn't Want You--Get the Hell Out!).
Since (a real fact coming up) out of all the people in America who actually make money from writing, only some 6% of them actually manage to support themselves entirely from such endeavors, C.J., like the grand majority of his peers, has had to come up with other ways to rake in the miscellaneous dollar or two. In his time, he has earned his keep and kicked around as a: movie house manager, waiter, drama coach, fast food jockey, interior painter, blackjack dealer, book reviewer, stockman, English teacher, roadie, advertising salesman, creative writing instructor, supernatural investigator, bank guard, storage coordinator, children's theater director, card shark, film critic, dishwasher, magazine editor, traffic manager, short-order cook, stand-up comic, interview & general article writer; toy salesman, camp counselor, movie booker, street mime, lounge lizard and as a senior editor of legal publications at Matthew Bender & Co., Inc. All too often, he still has to do such things. But, at least when one is writing film columns, the movies are free. These days, C.J. is married in all the typical manners to fashion designer Grace Tin Lo. They live in Brooklyn, NY, along with their daughter Erica, and everyone's cats, Tyco and Tiger.
Like every author, he has managed his share of awards. His piece of the honors pie to date has been slim, but appreciated beyond measure. That list extends briefly to the following:

  • Patti Starr joins the Fearless Ghosthunter Show tonight
“What inspired you to become a ghost hunter”, I have to say it has been a passion of mine for a long time. When I was a kid I loved to explore and check out old abandoned houses, closed factories, forgotten school houses, and even a tall smoke stack that I climbed once in a while. If my parents had only known that I was climbing this smoke stack I would have gotten the whipping of my life.
On my twelfth birthday my parents gave me a bicycle and that set me free to ride the local area to look for that perfect haunted fantasy. I would park my bike and go inside the desolate structure and walk around to see what I could feel, see, or hear. Sometimes I would get very quiet, close my eyes and try to image what the place was like before it was deserted. While listening I could hear moans, creeks, and whispers. The air around me would start to move slightly and the temperature would drop. If I were really lucky I would feel a hand on my shoulder or someone touching my back. It was usually at that moment I would start asking questions, “Is there anyone here? Hello, my name is Patti. Do you have a message for me?”
I don’t remember every being very afraid. Every once in a while I would be startled at what I witnessed but as soon as I realized what had happened I would give off a nervous laugh and then move on.
After I grew up, married and had children I would take them with me on some of my ghost hunting quests. We would walk into these hollow, cold, unconscious places to see what we could find. They were young and thought running around while yelling into the nothingness was cool. None of us knew that I would someday make this my career and become a certified ghost hunter. In the early 1990's I started to take my research more seriously so I began a rigorous probe into the spirit world. In 1996 I became President of Ghost Chasers International and this would include many ghost investigations.
