Úna Ní Fhlannagáin is a harper and singer based in Galway, Ireland. Rooted in the jigs and reels of North Clare and the sean-nós singing of Connemara, she is also influenced by American post-minimalists and free jazz. In preparation for her gig and workshop coming up on the 28th of March at the Folk Club, Hugh and Úna chat about her music and the history of the harp in Ireland as well as her status as the only traditional Irish harpist to be a Suzuki harp teacher.
