I speak with Glenn Taylor from U.K based 'The Taymount Clinic' about fecal microbiota transplants. We discuss the clinic's journey from 2003 when it was set up, to the process of obtaining specimens from donors, how a fecal microbiota transplant works, the risks of stool transplant when important processes aren't followed, and what the experience looks like when visiting Taymount. We finish by discussing the clinic's experience supporting patients and what they have learned along the way. Today, over 3000 clients have completed their FMT Programme in the UK.
