The global pandemic has shaken up our daily lives and routines. And now is a time that people are considering not just remote working—but venturing out on their own as a freelancer or by starting their own company.
To be your own boss or not to be, that is the question...And this might be a question you are pondering yourself now.
But how do you know whether to take the plunge or not?
In this episode, I’m going to share with you two key elements in your personality that just might be the deciding factors of whether or not you will be able to succeed in a bid to become self-employed.
Avoid this knowledge at your own risk—or embrace it and make a decision that will greatly improve your chances of success.
Enjoy the episode (and don’t forget to feed your tigers!).
Best wishes,
Steven

This show is especially meant for you if you need to get a critical task done and are finding it nearly impossible to complete it—especially when the cause is a small Administrative Tiger. That is when you don’t have much of a natural tendency to organize and complete work.
Sometimes your motivation, discipline, and grit, just aren’t enough to overcome the inertia of not completing an essential assignment or activity. Don’t despair!
In this episode, I share a technique that will come to your rescue: engaging someone else’s tigers (talents) to help get you organized. It sounds deceptively simple, however, if you don’t engage the right type of person and enroll them in the right way, there are chances you’ll wind up blowing it and winding up worse off than before.
In addition to providing with a surefire process, I also share:
If you’ve got a huge task or job that needs to get done and is could create huge problems for you if it doesn’t get done soon, you will find this approach to accomplishing your goal a lifesaver. It’s one that I have relied on more than once!
After you’ve listened to the episode, give this technique a try—and let me know how you make out. I’d love to hear about it and how it’s affected your life.

One of the reasons you might not be achieving the success you want to achieve is that you are depending on tigers that aren’t your strongest ones.
In this episode, I focus on why people you might be overestimating the strength of your talents and how it could be limiting your ability to thrive. I then provide you with three questions you can ask yourself that will help you determine if certain tigers of yours are genuinely big ones or not.
Knowing whether tigers are genuinely big ones or not will help you make better decisions about whether to change career directions, to double down on a direction you are pursuing, to get support in areas where you might need it, and so on.
To demonstrate this concept, I tell a true story of a client of mine who dropped out of college to pursue a dream based on an average size tiger and misled himself. After an honest appraisal of his talents, he discovered another tiger would lead him to the success and happiness he enjoys today.

To help you determine the strength of your tigers, I’m pleased to share with you a tool: The 7-Way Test. This is a free PDF that includes the three questions from this episode, as well as an additional four questions that you can ask yourself in order to help you be certain that a talent you are exploring is indeed a strong one.
Enjoy the episode (and don’t forget to feed your tigers!).
