    Kristik – dj set for feeder.ro
    Set description: I perceive this set for feeder sound as a musical story. It is a connecting dot between older and newer wave of rhythm.
    I primed a special selection of my most heartfelt records/media, and a few tracks from myself.
    Starting off slowly from organic voices and rhythms that have been here since humans invented the rhythm, and then ramping the tempo up, going towards the club music of our time.
    Hoping to connect the people to enjoy it together, that is what dj'ing is all about.
    About Kristik
    Artist biography: Kristik – DJ, artist, part of the collective 'Teknopicnic' and a resident for Deepboxx (a.k.a dbxx).
    Passionate listener of electronic music since a kid, he went straight up to his first rave as a teen, and immediately knew what he wanted to do with his life.
    First he was helping out local promoters to make events, then he taught himself to play records and made a few mixtapes online. Eventually he started to play gigs around the 'underground' of Helsinki, gaining experience, and forming his sound.
    His sound is minimalistic, warm, raw and human. It leaves space for imagination and welcomes ambiguity.
    Microhouse, experimental, electronic.

Today, the ideologist and co-founder of the F8 promo team. A frequent guest of Sanchez Thursdays in the cult club of Moscow “Propaganda”. Recently, the founder of branded pre-party parties "FRIENDS" in the 1847 Lounge. His sets were played on venues such as Aglomerat, Dissident, RNDM Bar, Ruin Bar, Suzuran Bar, Propaganda and so on.     Set description: Being away from home and from my studio for more than a few months due to the recent pandemic, my participation in this project seemed compromised, however, 24 hours before submitting this podcast, I managed to accrue for a short period of time some equipment to record this journey before the deadline was up. It is as humanely imperfect in the same way it is the most honest representation of the feelings that needed to be expressed in the art form that I love the most. Thank you for allowing me to participate and for listening to this set. All the best for you all!

    Artist biography: My name is Florin Popa, born in Iasi, Romania. Moved to Belgium in 2010. Started collecting records in 2011 but the passion for music started in 2007 when a friend of mine introduced me to deepmix.
    Fell inlove instantly with Pushkarev's style and followed his work ever since. I love the romanian style, this new trend let's say but for me the russian with detroit influences style is my sweet spot.
    Got my first pair of technics in 2017, followed by two cdj and an Xone 92 mixer. At the moment I'm your friendly neighborhood bedroom dj walking with small babysteps into the vast universe of producing.

    About Mofte
    Artist biography: Mofte is a young artist in the Rominimal scene, adopting a strong sound with dark, funky and atmospheric tones. He is inspired by the constant blending of sounds in a totally particular and original way, combining also the music produced by Romanian artists with his personal selection of international music.
    Combining sleek mixing skills with a calm and confident demeanour, Mofte manages to keep moving the audience in a tale full of dancing hours and hours, being an artist who can easily melt when he is behind the mixer, being ready to leave the most memorable musical stories in the memory of the audience.
    The great artists who influenced Mofte in defining the style are Barac, Priku, Arapu, Gescu, Nu Zau, Raresh and the last but not least, Mihigh, since his beginnings as an artist, in 2016.

    Set description: Madina is imagined as an urban journey through different takes on dancefloor grooves. It starts off organically from the East, moving to a more electronic, synthy and rather darker West and closes the loop in an Eastern hand made percussion fashion. It's a homage to being all under one roof raving.

    Artist biography: Born and bred in Bucharest to guitars, trip hop and low bpm electronics. Started djing properly in 2014 to indie/alternative/electronic nights, moved further to 100% electronic ranging from disco/world infused house to electronica to synths to deeper/darker tones. DJing highlight (up to now): closing the Booha Mansion stage for Electric Castle in 2019, marking my 3rd appearance at the festival. Always on a musical quest to make people dance their nights off while wearing their best smiles.
