  • Michael Greenberg: Intimacy and Being Present

In this episode of the podcast, we are joined by Michael Greenberg. Michael is a dermatologist with over 40 years of experience. On his business card, it says, "Dermatology that Touches the Soul." The quote says a lot about how Michael views the world. In this conversation, we go deep on spiritual topics and being present in the moment. I won't spoil any of the discussions here, by saying too much. If you have an interest in spiritual topics broadly speaking, this is the podcast for you. Michael is a profound thinker and articulates these ideas in a way that it's consumable for anyone.  Michael is also part of an improv group called The Waiting Room.

Michael’s Recommended Book: The Bhagavad Gita

    Some Quotes to Ponder:

"It is not the man who has too little, but the man who craves more, that is poor."  --  Seneca

"Those who dance are thought to be quite insane by those who cannot hear music." -- Maggie Erotokritou

Recommended Book: 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey. "This book should be a staple in all sales professionals training. My favorite of the "habits" is #7 Maintenance. It represents the importance of a person improving one's self and maintaining good personal habits such as diet, exercise, proper rest, and an overall balance. These are all very relevant in also keeping a successful professional life."

  • Eric Herrera: Being Yourself

On this episode of the podcast our guest today is Eric Herrera. Eric is one of my oldest friends at over ten years of running. Eric has spent time like a Tower Climber for cellphone towers and other hands-on jobs. I try to ask questions that are uniquely suited to the person I'm talking to. For Eric, the question that was asked was how to be yourself? I know that's a straightforward question, but we all are working in the context of our own situations, and Eric does not filter who is in any situation. Being yourself is as much a skill as anything else we can do.

  • Addiction, Anxiety and Depression

In this episode of the podcast, the guys talk about addiction, anxiety, and depression. The topics we discussed are complex, and we barely scratch the surface on it. None of us are trained, and we don't pretend to be one on the internet, so anything we say is just talking through a complex topic. We want to find better solutions for these situations. Lastly, I'd like to thank Ben for being able to articulate his experiences with anxiety in such a concise way.
