We hear the term "Christian home" but it isn't really a Christian home if someone just uses Christian words to cover up cultural parenting. How does the Bible define a Christian home? Why is it important?

This message covers Colossians 3:18-4:1

God commands us to love Him. But isn't giving a kid commands about the worst thing you could do if you want them to love God? Doesn't that take all the affection out of it? In this message Brian continues the sermon series on parenting entitled Teach Them Diligently by looking at the first 4 commandments found in Exodus 20.

This is the first in a sermon series on principles for parenting. What do you need to teach your children? God gives us a blueprint for parenting where the home plays the primary role in raising spiritually sharp children.

The world as it is, is not all that there is. The Bible teaches us that there are spiritual powers stirring our earthly problems. Should we be afraid? What influence do we have in our problems? Where is God in all of this?

American Christianity is concerned about prosperity and success. We want our best life now despite the Biblical teaching that our best life comes later.

You have an eternal problem. The good news is that through atonement Jesus can solve your eternal problem.

When Jesus died for you He didn't pay the price for you to go to Heaven. He paid the price for you! Jesus redeemed you from sin.
