We're all starting to understand just how much baggage we have,  how deep our personal traumas are and what our inner child needs to heal. If you asked any personal health/spiritual guru how to heal everything once and for all, they would give you a simple, effortless, easy-as-pie solution - LET. GO.

Oh! Okay.  Well that makes sense. Wait...but like...how the FUCK do we do that? 

In this episode, Arielle talks about all the ways that advice such as "just being confident" and "stop overthinking" don't actually help you let go, and what to do instead to start the process of letting go.

Arielle is Asian American, so gaslighting was pretty much the normal form of communication in her household. If she said she felt sad, she'd quickly find out she really didn't...OR ELSE. If she found fault in something her parents did, it was disrespectful. 

After years of being stuck in this cycle,  Arielle has grown into one big 'ol brown woman Hulk -- randomly falling into "big mad" episodes and then being told she was the problem after seemingly wreaking havoc. She is now starting to learn how to wield her anger in the healthiest way, and even use it to create solutions.

In this episode, Arielle breaks down why anger is SUPER valid and healthy for empaths, and how to fight against constant gaslighting so you can take back your power. 

Since Arielle was a kid, she remembers her filipino parents telling her how much they sacrificed to get her this better life by coming to America. And they'd always repeat to her a phrase she reminds herself of to this day: "Yours is just to be happy."

It's the big question, isn't it? How do we actually achieve real, genuine, true to us, HAPPINESS? 

Just a warning - Arielle isn't 100% sure, but she does dive into things she's doing that are probably steps in the right direction.  In this episode, Arielle talks about the great control YOU have to make yourself happy, to heal your life, and to create whatever the FUCK you want. And sometimes you gotta go through some shit just to undo generational trauma so you can finally pave a new, HAPPIER path.

Arielle is neurodivergent. It's like that movie "Divergent" but much, much more entertaining. It's like, she was born with 10 tabs open in her brain and she struggles to close 9 of them because she's so used to multi-tasking. Also, this has caused her to live very unbalanced - contributing to a host of health issues.

The brain circus in her brain, while well-suited for complex thought and work, isn't actually the best for creating a balanced life. In this episode, Arielle shares the pros and cons of having ADHD/being neurodivergent and being empath, plus ways she's started to FINALLY regulate her brain and her life.

In this episode, Arielle references Ted Lasso, her fave example for a successful traumatized child turned superhero empath and how he approaches people when they've done him wrong. 

As empaths, we get burnt out from helping those around us or at least just FEELING into them. We're also kind and often people mistake that kindness for weakness and are little bitches that take advantage of us. What's the worst is, many of us carry resentment towards others, which ends up hurts us more than them.

WELLLLLL...we can take our power back. And we also need to recognize that too much empathy can make us complacent with our own wants, needs and purpose.

Arielle has been feeling up and down in the past month. It's probably because astrologically, its been Cancer season and usually our self-esteem gets wonky. But as always, Arielle is seeing this weird emotional time as a learning experience.

Arielle is an ancient 33 -year-old human. Wow. Her life is over now, right?  HA!  Far from it! 

In this episode, Arielle talks about her previous fear of turning 30 and how she hated every birthday for the past 7 years. She now feels happier, more confident and even sexier than she ever was her 20s.  Impossible? Nope. Actually, most people believe their 30s are a sweet spot. 

In another episode, Arielle will discuss the responsibilities of getting older and and at the same time, growing confidence and strength. 

Whatever age you're at, the most important thing to remember is that you can absolutely be as hot as you want to be. ;p

Arielle hates admitting this, but she's a...a...do we have to say it? Okay, fine. She's a people-pleaser (*makes gag noise*).  She didn't always believe she was though. In many ways she's too independent and isolated (hi, Aquarius!) to be thought of as one at first. But after looking at her lack of boundaries, it's got to be acknowledged.

In this episode, Arielle talks about the ways she has been people-pleasing her whole life without even realizing. She also recounts moments where she stood up for herself and definitely did not people-please.  And of course, she drops some advice for how to stop, and instead focus on yourself.

Arielle is a Filipino American woman who is very likely the first of her family line to truly prioritize her feelings and emotions. That's a big deal, bruh. 

Past generations of her family often only had time to focus on their survival. Her immediate family still struggles to move past living in "survival mode" and hardly makes time to genuinely be present with themselves. Arielle is determined to break the "generational curse" of constant "survival mode" and she has the audacity to believe she gets to live and thrive in her emotional, creative endeavors. Can she do it? Well, yeah. It's a new era, baby.
