As the conversation escalates, things get revealed.
Here we discover what the friends really think about Job’s “covenant connection with the Almighty.” And we find ourselves in a battle of words.
I mean, really, what is the right way to live in this world? What is the nature of the relationship we are able to have with The God? Are we doing away with the fear of God by all our Christian “grace” talk?
Is the wise way to have a little bit of works and a little bit of faith, mixed together?
No, but The Word of Grace gives us the Way of Wisdom.

This week Bryan Schwichtenberg explores the end of Psalm 98 and discovers the extraordinary, time-bending, power of singing the truths about God’s righteous judgments.
The future faithfulness of God can change our present into something worth singing about. And singing itself can take us to that glorious future where God’s King, Jesus, rules.
Jesus rules there, and can rule here today in our lives by faith.
God’s future judgment is so good it can change our experience of today’s sorrows and give us a song instead.
