In our journey through the book of 1 Thessalonians, we will see how the resurrection of Jesus connects to some very important topics. We will be reminded that Jesus is coming again and that His return reshapes how we face grief, fear, and the future. In this message we explore what it means to live with confident hope in a returning King!

There are certainly times when hope seems to evaporate. On Good Friday, the church reflects upon the suffering and death of our Savior. Just imagine how the disciples must have felt. At that moment, all hope seemed lost. But then on Resurrection Sunday, despite all that occurred on Friday, Sunday indeed arrived as a most powerful triumph! Join us as we reflect on the reality that hope is alive.

How would you describe a life that pleases God? As we continue our journey through the book of 1 Thessalonians, we pick up in chapter 4 to consider how following Christ reshapes not just our future but also our daily decisions, relationships, and priorities. In coming to Christ, we are under new management that calls us to a life of spiritual growth, genuine love for others, and quiet faithfulness.

This week, as we continue our series on Transforming Prayer, we turn to the model Jesus Himself taught in Matthew 6. Often called the Lord’s Prayer or the Model Prayer, it provides a clear and practical framework that centers our prayers on God’s glory while reminding us of our daily dependence on Him. Daniel Henderson says, "The Lord's Prayer is the ultimate pattern of prayer Jesus gave to His disciples." We will look together at the framework of this prayer, which leads us to glorify God and depend on Him.
