We have barriers to belief, but Jesus teaches us through trials & scripture and is patient with us always.

his salvation and vindication in 1 Samuel chapter 24.

We must look to God for strength to do what will glorify him. (1 Samuel 17, David & Goliath).

King Saul’s downfall shows us the consequences of partial obedience and the foolishness of trying to excuse our sin, but 1 Samuel 15 also foreshadows a better King who will fulfill all righteousness.
