Here in the opening of vs 25, Paul is emotional as he expresses thanks or gratitude for what Jesus has done. Paul did not thank God for serving the law or serving sin. Here is a duality of mes. Here the word serve is to be a slave to. The question here is can a regenerate man make these statements in verse 25?

In this passage we see a profound lesson on the surety of God's holy Word. It is ever binding and unchanging. For those separated from God's grace, that is a terrifying prospect, because every promise of judgement will stand. But for those in Christ, who have been declared righteous by his blood, it is a promise of sure rescue. Brothers and sisters, the Word of God stands so take heed.
