The result of being a Christian is blessing. We are also promised suffering, but remember we are heirs with Christ. We are debtors to God, and our bent should be toward life and spiritual things. we are all like the prodigal son, once lost and now found.

The Gospel is a work of God to those who believe. the Work of God always has a result, We are not left to our own desires. We have holiness of life- Sanctification is a process of the Spirit. Jesus knows that the flesh is week. Sanctification does not happen all at once.

We must be alive to God's word-- the Gospel and have love for the brethren. God puts the desire in our hearts to live in the spirit of Christ. --Blasphemy is prevalent today and when one mocks the Bible it shows where someone is spiritually.--God will use test to build us up to glorify him.

Is your mind set on the flesh or the things of God- the mind set on the flesh does not comprehend the things of God.--Hostility toward the Word is hostility toward God and his truth

When God gives His law, it is a light of truth and holiness that shows every blemish. God has mercy on us by sending His Son. His Son knew no sin, but took sin for us.The believer now walks by the spirit, not by this world.

Joshua is standing with the Angel of the Lord and Satan. Satan is the accuser- Joshua is unfit to be high priest- he is sinful. The Lord Himself orders Joshua's garments changed for clean ones, the rebukes Satan. With Jesus there is now no condemnation.

Romans 8 is for Christians. It offers hope. Paul addresses the meaning of the Gospel and what it means to be a Christian. Jesus fulfilled the requirements of the Law. The Law itself has no power to save, bu tit reveals our faults and shortcomings. It is unable to give righteousness. Only Jesus can give this.

Without coming through Christ, who cleanses and forgives us and reconciles us to himself, we cannot know God or ourselves.--The world today is drowning in sin. Jesus provides the light to all through the Scriptures and Gospel. Men are without excuse. Many want to blame others for their issues and they give appearances of something they are not.

Forgiveness of sin has in all ways and forever been taken care of through Jesus. The law has been completed and fulfilled In Jesus
