“What is God’s will for my life?” It’s one of the biggest questions we all wrestle with as we make decisions that feel like they could shape the rest of our lives—our future, relationships, careers, and purpose. In this four-week series, No Wrong Turns: Finding God’s Will for Your Life, we’ll dive into what the Bible teaches about God’s will, and discover the freedom, peace, and confidence we can have as we follow Him.

The Bible reveals that God’s will is both His sovereign plan over all things and His desire for how we are called to live. While we may not always understand what God is doing, we can trust that He is in control and that He is faithfully working all things together for our good and His glory.

In this series, we’ll explore God’s will for our past, our present, and our future—learning how the gospel frees us from regret, empowers us to make wise decisions, and builds our trust in God so that we can follow wherever He leads. Who are we because of Jesus? In this three-week series, This Is Us, we dive into 2 Corinthians 5:17–21 and discover the incredible truth that when we are united to Christ, everything changes. The gospel doesn’t just give us a new set of beliefs—it gives us a completely new identity. In a world where so many of us are searching for purpose, identity, and belonging, the gospel gives us something far greater than a better version of ourselves—it gives us a brand new life. Through Jesus, the old has passed away, the new has come, and we have been made into new creations from the inside out.

But God doesn’t just save us as individuals; He brings us into a new family. Because we have been made new in Christ, we have also been brought into a new community—a people who belong to Jesus, who are being transformed together, and who are called to live differently from the world around us.

And God doesn’t stop there. The same Jesus who makes us new and brings us together also gives us a new calling: to be His ambassadors, carrying the message of reconciliation and inviting others to experience the same hope, forgiveness, and new life we have found in Him. This is us: made new by Jesus, brought together by Jesus, and sent out for the glory of Jesus.

We live in a culture in which, for the first time in all of history, the truths of Christianity are no longer assumed. Our society is increasingly "Post-Christian," and there are more and more hard questions being posed to Christians. As followers of Jesus, this is not something to be fearful of, or shy away from, because these questions are ones that we have answers to. In this new series, "True & Good," we answer some of the hardest questions about Christianity. Is Christianity True? Is Christianity Good? How can a loving God allow evil? Is following Jesus even worth it? We will see that not the answers that Christianity provides does not just satisfy our curiosity, but satisfies the deepest longings of our hearts.

This week, we answer the hardest question of all, “How can a good God allow suffering?” The common objection is that God is either powerful enough to stop it, but not good, or He is good, but not powerful enough to do anything to stop evil and suffering, otherwise there wouldn’t be any. Our Young Adults Pastor, Brent Cummings, walks us through how to respond to this question, because the Bible teaches that God is both.

This week, we answer the question, "Is Christianity Worth it?" Cody Calhoun, our Benton Campus Pastor, walks us through the story of the Rich Young Ruler to show us that there is no other system of rules, not even our own self-created system, that can lead to the abundant life that Jesus offers and the gift of eternal life. In the gospel, we have hope and salvation because Jesus lived in perfect obedience to the law and offered his life as the sacrifice for sin so that by his death and resurrection we may be forgiven our sins and our lives may be changed forever.

This spring, the YA Team will be confronting several relevant cultural topics through a biblical perspective. This week, Brent, Kenzie, and Logan discuss cynicism. We live in a culture plagued by cynicism. If we are not careful, as Christ followers, we can allow the cultural influence of cynicism to affect the way we interact with the world around us more than the instruction of Scripture.
