As young adults, this is the season of life when we make some of the biggest decisions of our lives. So, who or what we allow to influence our decision-making is of utmost importance. But if we’re not careful - if we get caught up in the current of the culture of our generation - we can end up listening to and being influenced by and following some really bad advice. So in this series, we’re gonna take a few pieces of advice that we all hear all the time - worldly wisdom - and filter them through and compare and contrast them with the infallible, inerrant, perfect, ultimate source of Truth and Wisdom = the Word of God.
In this message, we examine at a half-truth that we often hear: "Just cut toxic people out of your life." It's a half-truth because relationships are always more nuanced and complicated than that. So what should we do as Christians when people wound or offend us? The answer depends on who it is we're talking to. And for Christians, it requires us to understand 1) boundaries, 2) forgiveness, and 3) conflict resolution.
