  • FR Ep# 277 Eat With Ease Every Day with Amy Freinberg-Trufas
Today on Feminine Roadmap we are talking about how to eat with ease every day. Author Amy Freinberg-Trufas shares her life changing journey of losing 150 pounds naturally after years of a debilitating food addiction. Her story starts when as a young child of an alcoholic mother she found herself having to navigate being responsible to cover up the alcoholism. As a 10 year old little girl, she was overwhelmed by the traumatic experiences that brought into her life so she turned to food as a way to numb her feelings. In this episode she shares how she has finally made peace with a lifetime of food addiction and healing the trauma that drove her to it. Amy came to be grateful for the trauma response that saved her life in many ways. Once she accepted that, she began to recognize that in this present moment she had the power to make a different choice. • FR Ep #275 How To Ask For What You Want
Today on Feminine Roadmap we are talking about how to ask for what you want. Many women that I’ve talked to have learned to get along in life and relationships by yielding, complying or staying quiet. While there may be times where that is the appropriate response, more often it is not the healthiest way to handle things. When we begin to understand what it is that we want and need on a fundamental level – emotionally, physically and mentally – then we can start to communicate it. As we know ourselves better we gain clarity and confidence which empowers better, clearer communication. In this episode, Gina walks through the process of gaining that clarity and confidence. She also covers what that looks like in different avenues of life by sharing real life examples from hers. We invite you to grab a cuppa something wonderful and gift yourself 30 minutes to be encouraged to feel confident to ask for what you want.

  • FR Ep #274 Elevating Your Midlife Style with Aleksandra Olenska
Today on Feminine Roadmap we are elevating our midlife style with style whisperer Aleksandra Olenska. Aleksandra is on a mission to help modern women of style and substance to feel more elegant and relevant, to put a little more va-va-voom back into their lives. One of the paradigms that she wants to shift is seeing style as form of self care. When we look into our closets do they express the women we were or the women we have become? What is it that supports us in this season of our lives? Aleksandra challenges listeners to step back, give ourselves a measure of feminine grace by allowing ourselves to declutter and release. During this process, investigate how we want to feel, what inspires us, what resonates now. Once we’ve decluttered then we get to choose what items we may add to our closet. One thing Aleksandra believes can elevate our midlife style is choosing a few classic pieces and having those tailored to fit beautifully. In this episode she talks about the incremental upgrade, experimenting gently with our style. We are multi-dimensional so we can use our wardrobe to express the many parts of us. Please grab a cuppa something wonderful and join us for an inspirational conversation about how we can elevate our midlife style.
