We continue our conversation on police brutality and the protests of the last two weeks, and address some questions and comments from conservatives regarding the movement to 'Defund the Police,' white privilege, the problem with "All Lives Matter," and the myth of 'black on black crime.'

We discuss police brutality over the last two weeks, and its connection to a long lineage of generational police brutality and misconduct that leads us to the present moment. We also tackle how we can be better anti-racists.
Full resource list will be posted in Part 2, tomorrow, but in the meantime our top two recommendations:

We discuss some of the news swirling around that isn't COVID related - 2020 election integrity, China exerting illegal power over Hong Kong, Trump's increasingly disturbing and deranged tweets, Instagram's AI bias against plus sized bodies... it's a big list of bummers.
We discuss the onslaught of news, from COVID-19 Senate hearings, to the Supreme Court hearing oral arguments on Trump’s tax cases, Barr and the DOJ dropping charges against Michael Flynn, McConnell calling Obama “classless” (!). Then we get into what Adele’s weight loss brings up for both of us.
We see you: Trump, Doctor’s Without Borders needing to step in and assist parts of the US with COVID, WA Representative Mark Schoesler, Ms. Monopoly, Senator Rand Paul, San Diego man wearing a KKK hood as a mask in the grocery store.
