In March 2008 I made my first recording. This month marks the milestone of my 200th podcast episode. As I did with my 100th one, I went through my favorite tracks from the last 100th episodes and put them together in a four and a half hour compilation for you. I have loved going through the tracks in the many folders. They are of many different styles, but somehow, to me, they become meaningful. They reminded me of all the good times we had in the last 7 years. I hope you capture my message of friendship and enjoy this special episode.

I have the folder called “Pretty Music”. Its tracks don’t really share any precise musical genre, period or even style. They are there because I find them just that: “pretty songs”. They are symbolic of the influence from so many DJ friends (afraid to mention them all and miss someone, but you know who you are…). I always think how lucky I am to have learned from them and to have listened to many of these tunes while dancing among our extended family during the past 20+ years here in NY.
Once in a while, when I am in that mood, I go down in the basement and play them, and it makes me feel better.
