Dennis sits down with NY-based writer Michael Zam in a mutual friend's West Hollywood apartment to discuss the miniseries "Feud," which was based on a feature film script that Michael wrote with his writing partner Jaffe Cohen. Michael explains how the project went from being a red-hot Black List feature script to being an 8-part miniseries starring Jessica Lange as Joan Crawford and Susan Sarandon as Bette Davis. He also talks about taking meetings while basking in the "Feud" buzz, meeting and bonding with his writing partner in college, the sweet thing Jessica Lange said to him on set and snagging a souvenir from the set. He also talks about writing the book for the award-winning musical "The Kid," based on the book by Dan Savage, teaching screenwriting at NYU and the theater class he teaches each summer in London. Other topics include: his favorite bad movie that's not that bad, being in NYC on 9/11, the movie he's seen more than any other, the worst job he's ever had, playing "drive-in"...and you'll never guess what celebrity he ran into in a pharmacy in Athens, Greece. www.michaelzam.net
