Interview with Olivia Dreisinger about her short documentary "Handler is Crazy"

"Handler is Crazy" follows Koyote Moone and her medical and psychiatric service dog Banner. The film explores issues surrounding non-visible disabilities and discrimination against service dog teams.

Olivia Dreisinger is a second generation sick artist and independent scholar living in Victoria, British Columbia. Her work focuses on all things disability.

Founder of Club Mafia Anna Gunvor discusses being a selector in the Copenhagen nightlife, sex parties, safe spaces and the collective responsibility of raving.

Club Mafia's role is to maintain the dancefloor and the nocturnal entertainment spaces safe and fun. Its goal is also to feminize the energy of the party in answer to the problematic symptomatic behaviours or patriarchy.

Xuan Ye (CN/CA) is the prototype of many objects. X makes media poetry synthesizing language, code, sound, body, light, time and reflection through diagrammatic processes and multimedial translations. X’s works speculate on systemic problems and distributed consciousness in various interconnected networks. More recently, X has been collaborating with artificial intelligence and non-human agents to co-author aesthetic experiences.

XI XI 息息 is Xuan Ye’s debut album. Compiled from solo improvisations across a three year span, the recordings comprise a fascinating document of X’s foundational ideas; free improvisation, computational randomness, hybrid chaos of gestures and mediated bio-electrical currents. conversation with artist Sarah Mihara Creagen, commissioned as part of Art POP 2019

Born in Nova Scotia, Sarah Mihara Creagen is a white passing mixed-race Japanese Canadian queer artist currently based in Ontario, Canada. She received her MFA from Hunter College in 2018. Creagen was the recipient of the Kossak Travel grant which enabled her and her younger sister to travel to Japan in 2018. They retraced family roots, looked at art, and ate their way across the country.

Creagen has exhibited work in Toronto and New York, and has an upcoming solo show opening in November 2019 at Articule Gallery in Montreal. Creagen has had recent solo exhibitions at SPRING/BREAK Art Show and Hercules Gallery in New York, and is a 2018/2019 Queer|Art Mentorship Fellow paired with Neil Goldberg. She is currently participating as a Cottage Artist in Residence at the Glenhyrst Art Gallery of Brant.

«hron : a country of ghosts» is an heterotopian science fiction feature movie taking place in a queer universe. It's a friendship story through which people unite and believe that another way of living is possible, but that they must fight to preserve their way of life. Dydo Horacki, a trans non-binary journalist from the borolian empire, comes to the mountain regions of the Cerracs to report news from the front. As the Empire expects to quietly expand its borders, they will be surprised by resistance on land that was assumed to be uninhabited.
