Precept upon precept, line by line reading. Week 15 Torah Portion - Bo (Come) Exodus 10:1-13:16. Translation: את Cepher

(1.16.24)

The last three of the Ten Plagues are visited on Egypt: a swarm of locusts devours all the crops and greenery; a thick, palpable darkness envelops the land; and all the firstborn of Egypt are killed at the stroke of midnight of the 15th of the month of Nissan.

YHVH commands the first mitzvah to be given to the people of Israel: to establish a calendar based on the monthly rebirth of the moon. The Israelites are also instructed to bring a “Passover offering” to Yahuah: a lamb or kid goat is to be slaughtered, and its blood sprinkled on the doorposts and lintel of every Israelite home, so that Yah should pass over these homes when He comes to kill the Egyptian firstborn. The roasted meat of the offering is to be eaten that night together with matzah (unleavened bread) and bitter herbs.

The death of the firstborn finally breaks Pharaoh’s resistance, and he literally drives the children of Israel from his land. So hastily do they depart that there is no time for their dough to rise, and the only provisions they take along are unleavened. Before they go, they ask their Egyptian neighbors for gold, silver and garments—fulfilling the promise made to Abraham that his descendants would leave Egypt with great wealth.

The children of Israel are commanded to consecrate all firstborn, and to observe the anniversary of the Exodus each year by removing all leaven from their possession for seven days, eating matzah, and telling the story of their redemption to their children.

Yahuah, we praise you and thank you for your blessings! We rejoice in the beauty of your creations! Father, we lift up the body to you and ask for your hand of protection and healing be upon all! Create in us clean hearts and new wine skins so that we can be filled by the Ruach Ha'Qodesh! Show us what needs to be removed from us that is not pleasing and speak into our ears your will and way for us! We praise the risen King Yahusha who has set the captives free and has victory over sheol and we long to be at his feet! Father your Torah is a lamp unto our path and nourishment to our bones and we ask that you teach us the deeper meanings within your word! Water us and grow us on this walk and increase our understanding as we long to be closer to you! In your name Yahuah and in Yahusha Ha'Mashiach name we pray Amein!

Happy 1st day beautiful beloved family! I pray everyone is prepared for whatever weather you are having today and this week! Be a light and give warmth to all you interact with today in love and Shalom that you have from a life following Yahusha Ha'Mashiach footsteps in obedience to Yahuah!

Yahuah, we praise you and worship you! HalleluYah for you Yahuah and Yahusha! We raise our hands and voices singing blessed be Yahuah, Yahusha, and the Ruach Ha'Qodesh! We come humbly before your throne with hearts bowed and tears of gratitude flowing down our cheeks. We are so blessed by a Father who gives and takes away, whose mind and ways are higher than ours, sees all things knows all things from the beginning to the end. We trust you Father in our difficult times of pushing and pulling by this world. We are not swayed from the path that you have set before us. Your word and might is our strength. Your Torah fills our belly and is written on our hearts and tucked deep within our very cells that your fingers formed. Your design is everywhere in your creation and I ask for your guiding hand over all of your creation. Move us in your way and at your will. Thank you Yahusha for showing us what it means to love. We see you in the Word of scripture and have taken you into our hearts that break at the thought of the suffering you endured. In complete love for you we give our lives in obedience, a sacrifice of pleasing aroma, to our Father whom you came to lead us back home to! Yahuah, provide shelter, warmth, and all needs for your children who are enduring these difficult weather conditions. Be with those who mourn and heal the sick. Take away fear and anxiety and fill us with your Shalom! In your name Yahuah, and in the name of Yahusha Ha'Mashiach we pray, let it be so, and let your Kingdom come! Amein!

Happy prep day and blessings, family! Yahuah has woke us today at his will and delight! I am thankful for each one of you! I thank Yahuah for you! 

Yahuah, we praise you and thank you, Father, for all that you do for us both seen and unseen! Your ways are above ours and your mind set on your will for the world! We are looking to the clouds for Yahusha Ha'Mashiach and his return. It can't be much longer, Father, the world is almost consumed with evil! I dream of sitting at the feet of Mashiach with my tears of joy washing his feet. I hear the love of Mashiach speak through scripture that calls us to this narrow path to step in his footsteps. Father, give us courageous boldness to speak the words of Yahusha that lead to you! Fill our heart with your truth of Torah that Yahusha is found. How wonderful is the love of Yahusha to save a wretch like me and save all! I am nothing without the light of Yahusha! Father, create in us a clean, obedient heart of flesh that beats with your rhythm! Protect your called out assemblies! Protect those putting themselves out on the front lines to reach and minister to the lost, lonely, sad, mourning, struggling, suffering, physically ill, mentally ill, broken and shamed lost sheep. Give us the heart of Mashiach and the discernment of the Ruach Ha'Qodesh! We are on fire for your work, Yahuah, and pray to light up the darkness as a multitude upon multitude of believers on fire for you that spread like a Qodesh wildfire! We long to see Yahusha coming, Father, we long to be in your presence! Let these fires of faith awaken the sleepers from their slumber and return them to you! In Yahusha Ha'Mashiach name and your might name YHVH, Yahuah, we pray, let it be so, and let your Kingdom come! Amein!

Good morning beloved family and blessings! Although it's cold, drizzly, and dreary outside we are blessed with shelter and warmth inside! Prayers that all of Yahs children are warm and in shelter today both physically and under his wing spiritually!

Yahuah, we praise you and thank you for shelter. Shelter under your loving gaze as you guide us along these days. Outside may seem bleak, but, inside we have the promise of everlasting life with you through Yahusha Ha'Mashiach and His sacrifice. I lift the body of Yahusha before you Father as we walk in uncertain times you know exactly what these times are because everything is made by you, through you, and for you. We will have no fear and we trust you, Father, we trust your ways and have faith in your words to us. Strengthen us as we guard and do your commands and precepts and forgive us when we are weak. We thank you for each day you wake us that we may repent, return, and renew our walk. We pray our feet follow only the footsteps of Yahusha Ha'Mashiach that lead to you! We lift all needs spoken and unspoken of all the called out assemblies! You know all needs ! Thank you for your Torah that blesses our lives with instructions for a happy, healthy life, filled completely with the joy given by Yahusha Ha’Mashiach. The joy that we are able to be grafted in and choose you! YHVH reveals Himself to Moses. Employing the “four expressions of redemption,” He promises to take out the Children of Israel from Egypt, deliver them from their enslavement, redeem them, and acquire them as His own chosen people at Mount Sinai; He will then bring them to the land He promised to the Patriarchs as their eternal heritage.

Moses and Aaron repeatedly come before Pharaoh to demand in the name of Yahuah, “Let My people go, so that they may serve Me in the wilderness.” Pharaoh repeatedly refuses. Aaron’s staff turns into a snake and swallows the magic sticks of the Egyptian sorcerers. Yahuah then sends a series of plagues upon the Egyptians.

The waters of the Nile turn to blood; swarms of frogs overrun the land; lice infest all men and beasts. Hordes of wild animals invade the cities; a pestilence kills the domestic animals; painful boils afflict the Egyptians. For the seventh plague, fire and ice combine to descend from the skies as a devastating hail. Still, “the heart of Pharaoh was hardened and he would not let the children of Israel go, as Yahuah had said to Moses.”

Yahuah, we come before you with our hearts bowed and hands raised! Father, we praise you for you are enough! We tremble at your word and we humble ourselves in awe of the height, width, and depth of your love for us. You word is life to our bones! We praise you Yahuah through every season in our lives, through trials and chastening, through joy and happiness, we rejoice that we are your children! Father, walk with us on all sides and never turn your face from us! We love you, Yahuah and Yahusha with all that we are and all that we have. We are nothing without you. We treasure your word that became flesh to pierce the darkness and save our souls. Yahusha, the son of Elohiym, our Salvation, that came for us and has our names engraved on the palms of his hands and within those nail holes is the key that unlocked our chains. We are free but we offer up our lives now in return for the life given so freely to save us we give our lives in humbleness, meekness, and in obedience to you Yahuah following in Mashiach's footsteps! We lift the body of Yahusha, and every part of it, every person in it, all their needs, their hurts, and illnesses. You know all of our prayers and needs. Father heal the body. Give us strength to endure until the end. Give us your knowledge and understanding. Fill us with a fresh Ruach Ha'Qodesh! Hear our cries Father! In Yahusha Ha'Mashiach name we pray, let it be so, and let your Kingdom come! Amein!
