Precept upon precept, line by line reading. Week 49 Torah Portion - Ki Tetze (When you go) Deuteronomy 21:10-25:19. Translation: Cepher

Ki Tetze outlines various laws and ethical teachings meant to guide the Israelites in their personal, family, and community lives. It addresses a wide range of issues, from treatment of captives in war, the rights of firstborn sons, and inheritance laws to matters concerning personal responsibility, justice, and kindness. The portion emphasizes the importance of fairness in human relationships, such as showing compassion to the vulnerable, like widows and orphans, and ensuring just treatment of workers and animals. It stresses the need for moral behavior in daily life, reflecting Yahuah's expectations for the Israelites to live in holiness and obedience.

In addition, Ki Tetze includes laws aimed at maintaining social order and preventing corruption. These include regulations about marital conduct, divorce, and integrity in business practices, such as fair measurements and weights. The portion also reinforces the principle of collective responsibility, where the community plays a role in ensuring justice, including the command to eradicate evil from within and the obligation to remember what Amalek did to Israel. Through these laws, Yahuah’s concern for righteousness and justice is demonstrated, guiding the Israelites to establish a society based on holiness and compassion.

Boker Tov and blessings family! I pray your Shabbat was blessed and refreshing and that you are filled with the Ruach Ha'Qodesh so your light shine forth! 

Yahuah, thank you, Father, Creator, Provider, Protector for all that you do! Blessed is your name, Yahuah, in all the earth! Powerful and magnificent are your ways! We praise you with all that we are because you made us all that we are. We do nothing on our own but in you all things are possible! You walk with us through the valley of the shadow of death and destruction and we fear no evil thing because you are with us, always! Our Father in Heaven, show us what we should remove from ourselves that is not pleasing to you, continue your work within us. Guide, mold us, and direct us in all our steps that they may stay aligned with the steps of Yahusha Ha'Mashiach. Give us your vision as we look upon our brothers and sisters that we may love, forgive, and give compassion to all. Remove any and all negative emotions from within us, pull out all works of the flesh, and strip clean our hearts so we can become filled by your presence, your right Ruach! Fall afresh on us, Yahuah! Father, we lift our brothers and sisters who are sick, having surgery, recovering from surgery, those who are looking for employment, or the basic necessities of life, clothes, food, and shelter. Comfort those who mourn, give release to those under spiritual attacks and oppressive influences, cast away demons and principalities! Place hedges of protection around us! Help us be about your work, building your Kingdom, helping others working for you, that all glory and esteem be unto you alone, and that we realize your Kingdom is the goal! We do nothing without you. We do not go if you aren't leading! 

We pray these things in love, compassion and love for all in the body of Yahusha and in the mighty names of Yahuah and Yahusha, let it be so, and let your Kingdom come!

Shalom and blessings family! Happy 1st day! We pray your Shabbat was blessed and restful! Praise Yahuah for this day he has made for us!

Yahuah, we worship you with all our heart, mind, and strength! We praise you with the breath you opened our lungs with and sing with the rhythm of your Way within the beating of our hearts! Thank you, Father, for the work you are doing in our lives and through our lives! Here we are, Father, use us, send us, we belong to you! Move us as is your will and way! 

We long to be in your presence Yahuah and Yahusha! We long for days in the Kingdom, where pain is gone, we mourn no more, and joy is everlasting! 

Circumcise our hearts of anything in us that is worldly! Remove it all so all that remains is you, Yahuah! Take it all so we are less and you are everything! Beautiful is your Word, perfect your instructions, nourishing your Torah that leads us in your cycles of righteousness! 

Yahuah, we lift all brothers and sisters in the body of Yahusha and all called out assemblies before you for all the needs you already are working on! Give all faith and trust in your process and your perfect timing! Help us endure the tests, trials, and tribulations with a raised countenance because we find it a blessing to be loved so much by you, Yahuah, who works everything out for our good! 

We pray and lift these words in love and brotherly/sisterly love for all and in the perfect name, Yahusha Ha'Mashiach, let it be so and let your Kingdom come!!

Happy prep day family! Yahuah bless you today and shine HIS face upon you and fill you with Shalom! 

Yahuah, we come humbly before You with praises and songs in our hearts to You, Yahuah Elohayka (Yahuah our El). Father, help us submit our words and our flesh under Your authority! Give us subtle cues and reminders when we are about to act or speak out in our flesh. Hold our tongues, Father, so we may speak no attacks against anyone in any place. Give us Your words that we may speak in Ruach and Truth. Yahuah, direct and guide us through all the seasons and changes in our lives.

I pray, Yahuah, for strength to help us walk in obedience to You and Your Torah as Yahusha Ha'Mashiach did. Give us the fortitude to stand uncompromised in our faith. Remind us when we are focused on our flesh that Yahusha paid with His flesh that we might have everlasting life with You both in the Kingdom of Heaven! Keep our eyes and ears focused only on the Way, Truth, and Life (Yahuah, Torah, Yahusha) and fill our hearts and Ruach with fiery faith! Great are You, Yahuah, and perfect is the Word made flesh, who comes again soon to tabernacle with us!

Father, we lift up the body of Yahusha and all called-out assemblies, asking for Your healing upon the sick, those waiting for surgery, those seeking work, those seeking food and shelter. Lift up the lonely and low in countenance, give joy to the sorrowful, and comfort to those in mourning. Strengthen the weak, and make battle-ready Your warriors fighting against the darkness and lies of the enemy. Fill us with righteous zeal to stand fighting for You, as is Your will, until the end! In complete love and adoration for the body of Yahusha and all called-out assemblies, we pray, in Yahusha Ha'Mashiach's perfect name, let it be so, and let Your Kingdom come!

The Torah portion "Shofetiym" focuses on the establishment of a just and orderly society in the Promised Land. Yahuah instructs the Israelites to appoint judges and officers in all their cities to ensure that justice is upheld according to His laws. The portion emphasizes the importance of fairness, warning against bribery and corruption, and calling for righteousness in all judgments. It also outlines guidelines for kingship, including the necessity for the king to study and follow the Torah, and the importance of not accumulating excessive wealth or power. The portion further discusses the roles of priests and Levites, the prohibition against idolatry, and the requirement to investigate crimes thoroughly.

Additionally, "Shofetiym" introduces the concept of the cities of refuge, where those who commit accidental manslaughter can seek asylum until their case is heard. It also addresses issues of warfare, including the exemption of certain individuals from battle, the proper treatment of captives, and the prohibition against destroying fruit trees during a siege. The portion concludes with the commandment to purge innocent blood from the land, emphasizing the value of life and the need to maintain moral integrity within the community. Through these laws, Yahuah establishes a framework for a society that reflects His justice and righteousness.

Shalom, blessings, and happy 1st day of the week! We pray your Sabbath was a blessing and you are refreshed and restored for the week! Yom Teruah is coming! HalleluYah!! Do you have your Shofar ready? Have we prepared our hearts for the feasts as they are quickly approaching? 

We pray to you, Yahuah, Elohiym, of Avraham, Yitschaq, and Ya'aqov with open hearts longing to be filled with your Ruach! We are thankful for the lessons in the words and lives of Avraham, Yitschaq, and Ya'aqov and all who proceeded from them all the way to Yahusha Ha'Mashiach, our Salvation. We are thankful that you prepared for us from the foundation of the earth and through our forefathers so that we could be of service to you for such a time as this! 

We pray to you, whom set in motion the works of these days, in each of us. Balance us, Yahuah, in our spiritual walk as we 'shema' to your instructions! With eyes focused on your ancient path and ears primed to your still small voice we walk in faith through trials and tests that you work all things for our good! 

Yahuah, you set before us blessings for obedience and curses for disobedience and we choose your blessings walking in obedience. Great are you, our mighty Elohiym, with your ways high above all! 

Yahuah, we pray for mercy and love for all, as Yahusha gave to us. Put your words in our mouths so that we may shine a light to all who are seeking you! We lift all in the body of Yahusha and called out assemblies and ask for healing, comfort, strength, and Shalom. Keep us balanced as we walk our daily lives working and living for you alone! We pray these things in complete brotherly love for all in Yahusha Ha'Mashiach name, let it be so, and let your Kingdom come!

Shalom and blessings family! Happy prep day! Yahuah bless you today and may you be a blessing to others!

Yahuah, mighty Elohiym, high above all the earth and creation, we humbly worship you! By you are all things made and by you will they pass from time. We trust you, Yahuah, Avinu, in all your decisions.  

We praise you, Abba, with songs of gladness with hands raised and hearts bowed. We praise the Risen King Yahusha! Our Savior and Salvation! Through him we have Shalom and joy in abundance. At his feet is where I long to be finally free of pain and suffering. Until then, Yahuah, kindle in us a fiery faith, that can withstand the coldest days of darkness of the mind and in the physical.  

Yahuah, we lift all of the body of Yahusha before you, all called out assemblies, all your children, and your prodigals, speak to us of your will and way. Heal the sick, comfort those who mourn, lift the lowly of countenance, and give us strength for another day. Our eyes are focused on you Yahuah and searching the clouds for the return of our King Yahusha! With complete love and adoration for all brothers and sisters in the body and all called out assemblies, we pray, in the matchless name of Yahusha Ha'Mashiach, let it be so, and let your Kingdom come!
