Precept upon precept, line by line reading. Week 46 Torah Portion - Ekev (Because) Deuteronomy 7:12-11:25. Translation: Cepher

(8.20.24)

In this portion, Moses continues his final discourse to the Israelites before they enter the Promised Land. He reminds them that their blessings and prosperity in the land will depend on their obedience to Yahuah's commandments. Moses emphasizes that their success is not due to their own righteousness but because of יהוה promises to their ancestors. He recounts the dangers they faced in the wilderness and warns against becoming proud and forgetting the lessons learned through their dependence on Yahuah.

Moses also reflects on the Israelites' history of rebellion, including the incident of the Golden Calf, and how יהוה showed mercy despite their disobedience. He encourages them to remain faithful and to keep יהוה commandments, statutes, and ordinances, as their faithfulness will lead to continued blessings. The portion underscores the importance of humility, gratitude, and remembering that all their achievements are gifts from Yahuah, not the result of their own merit.

Examining the Testament of Re'uven: Blog series

(8.19.24)

Shalom and blessings family in Yahuah! I pray your Shabbat was refreshing and that you are armored up and equipped to handle whatever comes your way this week.

Yahuah, we praise and worship you, for you are enough! Thank you, Father, for all that you provide, for hearing our prayers, for guidance and direction, and for the example of Yahusha Ha'Mashiach! Oh, how precious is the blood that washes us clean as snow.

We come humbly before you with hands raised and hearts bowed to submit our lives as a free will offering to you! Here we are, send us, use us. Father, we trust your will and way. We have faith in your perfect timing. Strengthen us to endure until the end.

Yahuah, bring alongside those willing to lift one another without any malice or cruel intentions. Protect the flock from manipulations of negative influences who intend to usurp and divide. Put a hedge of protection around this called-out assembly and all called-out assemblies working for you in your will and way. You, Yahuah, are our only leader, like a cloud by day and fire by night. Kindle our fiery faith that we may shine the light of Mashiach into the darkness, burning so bright it is seen through the floor of Ha'shamayim, driving away those with evil intentions.

Father, draw near to us, and put your seal on the foreheads of your faithful children walking in obedience and truth. We are looking and longing for the return of Yahusha Ha'Mashiach in the clouds! Help us focus on your Kingdom only and use our words to exalt you and your awesome magnificence! We lift the names Yahuah and Yahusha, worthy of all praises and exaltation, and pray in these names, with loving adoration and fiery faith, let it be so, and let your Kingdom come!

Please join me for Morning Manna at 10 am EST, as I continue my blog series discussing the Testament of Re'uven, Injustice & the Spirit of Sleep, finishing up the remaining 4 spirits of sleep. I think this is such a good tool in our toolbox to understand how our mind and thoughts can be manipulated and influenced when we aren't walking in obedience. When we let even the tiniest amount of the works of the flesh in.

Shalom and blessings family! Happy 1st day! I pray your Shabbat was amazing and refreshing! HalleluYah for the day of rest!

Yahuah, we praise you and worship you with all we have! Only you are good! Guide us and direct us in your will and way. Father, we just thank for everything you provide and for your love! Thank you for sending your Yeshu'ah, Yahusha Ha'Mashiach, who paid our death sentence and washed us clean!

Yahuah, protect us on all sides as we walk out each day. Protect our family and friends from the attacks of the world. Make clear your plans for us. Give us your words to speak and courageous faith to speak them boldly to the 4 corners. Father, lead the prodigals back to you, heal the sick in all manners needed, give us control over our flesh to not speak hate, to not intentionally hurt one another in any way, let our words be kind even when we are speaking correction. Yahuah, remind us daily that you love everyone so we walk humbly and meekly like Yahusha Ha'Mashiach! Keep us strong so we do not compromise our walk in any way and we keep focused on you and the Kingdom! In loving adoration for the body of Yahusha Ha'Mashiach and in His name we pray, Let it be so, and let your Kingdom come!

Join James at 11 am est for this week's Haftarah and Besorah reading for this week's Torah portion Va'etchanan. Yahuah bless you all today!

A Morning Page: Blog series

(8.16.24)

Happy prep day family! Yahuah bless you all as you start your day! Praise Yahuah for this day He has made and for His perfect will and way !

Yahuah, we come humbly before you singing praises of adoration for you, Avinu, most wonderful and powerful Creator of the heavens, earth, and all that is unknown to us! We sing with hearts full of gratitude and a purpose to guard and do your commandments, your instructions, and keeping to your precepts and right rulings. Guide us that we may walk confident in your will and way, forsaking all unrighteousness, and pursuing your perfect wisdom.

Yahuah Tseva'oth, we ask in the name of Yahusha Ha'Mashiach, your Yachid, that all negative influences, principalities of evil and mischievous ruachoth tasked against us to be bound and cast to the abyss. Help us root out anything in us that draws these influences to us. In Yahusha Ha'Mashiach name we ask for healing in the body, of all ailments, mind, body, Ruach, give us clean hearts made of flesh that are softened so we may be forgiving 7×70 times and beyond! Through forgiveness we find healing. Slow our angry responses and help us understand that it's when others say or do things we don't like that we are to exhibit self control over our emotions and our fleshly response. Thank you for time to share your word and wisdom and to be molded by your hands to the very end. We are yours and you are ours! Blessed be the names in which we pray, Yahuah Tseva'oth and Yahusha Ha'Mashiach, let it be so, and let your Kingdom come!

Daily bread to feed our Ruach.

James Caruthers

(8.14.24)

Being grafted into the seed of Abraham through baptism and choosing to follow the Messiah comes with great responsibility to not only keep and guard the covenant that was set forth from the beginning but to continue to sow seeds of righteousness and produce the Fruit of the Spirit. (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, trustworthiness, gentleness, self-control). What side are you going to choose?

Matthew 13:38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the Kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one.

Precept upon precept, line by line reading. Week 45 Torah Portion - Va'etchanan (And I Besought) Deuteronomy 3:23-7:11. Translation: Cepher

(8.13.24)

In the Torah portion Va'etchanan, Moses continues his final speech to the Israelites before they enter the Promised Land. The name "Va'etchanan" means "And I pleaded" or "And I besought" referring to Moses' heartfelt appeal to Yahuah to allow him to enter the land with the people. Despite Moses' fervent plea, יהוה denies his request, reminding him that Yahusha (Joshua) will lead the Israelites into the land instead. The parashat includes a restatement of the Ten Commandments and the Shema, a central declaration of the oneness of יהוה and the command to love יהוה with all one's heart, soul, and might.

Moses emphasizes the importance of obedience to Yah's laws as the Israelites prepare to settle in the land of Canaan. He urges the people to remember the covenant made with יהוה at Mount Sinai and to teach these laws to their children, ensuring that future generations remain faithful. Moses also warns against idolatry and emphasizes that the Israelites' success and longevity in the land depend on their adherence to Yahuah's commandments. The parashat highlights themes of faith, obedience, and the deep love and reverence for יהוה that should guide the lives of Yashar'el.

Examining the Testament of Re'uven: Blog series

(8.12.24)

Shalom and blessings family! Happy 2nd day of the week! It's a beautiful cool morning here in Middle Tennessee and I'm praising Yahuah for all He provides! HalleluYah!

Yahuah, Father, Provider, Protector, Creator of Heavens and earth, we praise you, HalleluYah!! Our hearts sing joyfully knowing you have our lives in your hands! Father, our hearts are open to you, mold us and shape us as you will! Show us what needs removed and strengthen us to be able to do it.

Yahuah, guide and direct us each moment today and help us focus on the hands and feet of our Savior who paid the price for our death sentence! Keep us in the Word so we walk steady in His footsteps while our hands give as he gave in humbleness and meekness!

Call the prodigals home and wake up the sleepers! Give us courageous faith to speak boldly your truth to the world! Bring peace to a fallen world if it be your will. Strengthen our armor if the times of tribulations are upon us. Help us lift one another! I pray we are looking up to you so we cannot find reason to look down on others!

We lift the prayers and petitions of the body of Yahusha and all called out assemblies! We lift our families and friends, the prodigals, and our enemies in prayer before you! We set down our flesh and ask in meekness of heart for the needs of all to be met. Whatever is a struggle, illness, difficult season, battle of mind, body, or soul, Father, if it be your will then please heal! We trust you and your way! We ask for understanding you want us to have.

We pray, in love and brotherly affection, in Yahusha Ha'Mashiach name, let it be so, and let your Kingdom come!
