We find ourselves questioning if Tookie is actually Christopher's daughter, and he sounds like a complete ass while talking about it (no shocker there) and finally we get to the Day of Discovery, or T-Dod...but when will we get to ModelLand? It feels like never at this point.
Yeah, yeah, yeah we still have issues with Tookie, but this isn't an awful book compared to what we've previously read. Mayor McCheese sleep walks and has a dramatic flashback to when her daddy gets his eye poked out. Also the 7Seven (still don't know how to pronounce this) are introduced and we relive our retail nightmares and wish nothing but harm on Creamy.
Trigger Warning: Mentions of self harm
I do say it in the audio right before it happens, it isn't drawn out or anything but man- it goes from zero to one-hundred really fast. World building occurs, much things are looked up, and we finally meet the one person that is Tookie's friend. Tookie will not and cannot shut up about her woe is me problems though.
In this epic(?) finale we finally see Zade's fate and ride ourselves of this curse that we unleashed upon ourselves! There are still questions that get no answers and things seem to just get more shitastic somehow. Though we do have one question that will be answered; what comes next? You gotta listen until the end for that.
This chapter is useless and could have easily been made into two! This is the second or third time this has happened, we've all lost count. Also things get like really weird when the magic system is kind of explained, but it's explained badly so I still don't know what's going on and it's just utter bullcrap that this is even a thing. But three more to go folks!
For some reason we get a whole chapter about how Charlie and Della met, it's interesting but it's not interesting at the same time because a certain author doesn't know how Tarot works for the most part, nor does she know how to use common sense and suspend the belief of her readers. Again, we're almost free from the madness.
Charles gets Zade and Mac to Tennessee, this chapter is pretty much the equivalent of filler from One Piece...again? Was that line used already? Della is boring but interesting(?) and everyone is so ready for this to be over, just a few more chapters until then!
After Zade passed out from unknown magical illnesses, we get the perspective of everyone else and suspension of disbelief goes out the window and is utterly crashed down into the tire fire outside of Springfield. Zade is still unconscious, Charles has a private Jet, and Mac has no idea what he's doing, the hosts have no idea what they are doing!
