On today's episode, Chris and Chris talk about field tablet drawing applications. Drawing planviews, profiles, artifacts, and other archaeological phenomena is critical in most field situations. Drawing artifacts and features allows us to bring out specifics that you can't always see in photographs. In traditional field situations, graph paper and a clip board are used to draw. Those drawings are often digitized using Illustrator or they're photocopied. Either way, it's extra work and the chance for error increases. The apps we'll discuss will allow you to draw in the field and avoid the second step.
