Mac graduated from Full Sail University with a degree in Recording Arts and has worked on various projects, including game sound and educational audio. Since moving to Austin in 2022, Mac has worked with Arkane Studios on the game Redfall, focusing on sound design, foley, implementation, and mixing. He also founded Clean Wavs for his linear sound work.

Recently, Aaron and Mac documented a detailed session capturing gun sounds, offering valuable insights into preparation, recording techniques, and DAW session management in Reaper, aimed at helping other field recordists succeed.
