If you want to grow as a follower of Jesus Christ, then you must commit to incorporating several, essential disciplines into your life. You must train. Growth in godliness does not happen by accident.

Years ago, according to the Scripture, a powerful man by the name of Pilate stood before a frenzied mob and unknowingly asked one of the most earth-shattering questions ever voiced. The question was: “Then what shall I do with Jesus who is called Christ?”

Mark 8:36- Jesus once posed this question to a gathered crowd along with His disciples. You can only imagine how this question might have been received by the original hearers.

Acts 16:30- Perhaps the most urgent question any person can ask is: “What must I do to be saved?” Conceivably, no question is more in need of an answer. You must ask this question now. You must avoid delay. You must ask this question before it is too late.

Genesis 3:9- The question before us this morning is the FIRST question asked by GOD in the Bible.

Genesis 3:1- This morning we begin a series of messages examining five questions of significant consequence in the Bible. The question before us this morning is the first question recorded in the Word of God. Additionally, it is the first documented instance of someone questioning God’s Word.

Job 42:1-17- This morning our objective is to consider the final chapter concluding the remarkable story of a man named Job. What a story!

Job 40:1-24-What are your thoughts regarding the following statement: A high view of God will lead one to have an accurate view of oneself. How do you see God? How do you see yourself?

Job 38- Today we want to examine God’s first response to Job. Please note the peculiar fact that God never tells Job the reason for his pain. God makes no mention of the conflict between He and Satan. God answers Job with counter-questions.

Job 23:1-24:25- In Job 12:1-14:22 Job responds to Zophar essentially identifying that they [Job’s friends] are wrong and only God knows and will, hopefully, speak to him. Chapters 15-21 record the second round of the friends’ speeches and Job’s subsequent responses. This morning we consider several important questions.
