In this episode Therese gets into the concept of what your operating system is. If you imagine that there are things (conscious and unconscious) that drive you, it would be good to know what those are, right? For example, it’s one thing to want to make a difference, but when your operating system is based on getting your needs met by giving can be unhealthy.

Are you driven by guilt/shame, or competition, or the need to prove yourself? That is a challenge if it’s true!

You’ll hear Therese explain how the operating system gets set up and she talks about the downside of having these kinds of operating systems. Very often what happens is that our operating systems become antiquated and stop serving us.

Therese also shares a painful story of when life “broke her” of the way she was living so as to develop a new operating system.

In fact, this is the path = understand your operating system, let life break this down, then replace it with something more nurturing to yourself.
