In the years to come, Bobby would find himself on top of the world in Sweden, scoring 8 goals in 9 games and then coming back down as he tried to navigate his career.

Wes interviews Bobby after the publication of his new biography When the Dream Became Reality. The book is a candid look at the unglamorous world of professional soccer.

Wes is joined by Eric Silva Brenneman & Rodrigo Sanchez-Chavarria to talk about the Gold Cup and Minnesota United's two matches against Houston Dynamo and New York Red Bulls.

Wes is joined by Edu Rosales to talk about the Gold Cup kicking off with a particular eye toward the US and Costa Rica. They also talk about the final week of the NPSL North coming up where things are tight as ever and where Duluth have become the villains.

It's a special for the Fourth of July: we're recapping not one but TWO losses in a week. It was sort of an odd one: after getting demolished by NYCFC, a threadbare Loons were barely beaten at home by the Crew. Alex and Wes recap and bemoan.

With Wes off trying to impress Jose Mourinho, Jeb Brovsky joins Jeff to talk shop. After an analysis of the US men’s national team’s four-point swing, Jeb and Jeff discuss the U.S. Open Cup. Wes won the lottery by being willfully ignorant of the depressing results of the weekend, so it's on Jeff to carry the water. Christian Ramirez wasn't called into the Gold Cup Squad, which is borderline criminal negligence. Also former GM of Minnesota Stars and a long-time part of Minnesota soccer, Djorn Buchholz, recently took the job as Executive Director of the National Soccer Hall of Fame, so he joins Wes to tell him about his new gig.
