  • Karl Stern Show, May 9th
Straight out of 1986-87 we are going to take a deep dive into the Jerry Lawler vs Austin Idol steel cage, hair vs hair match. I had such fun putting this show together. I encourage, not only fans of classic wrestling, to listen to this one but also modern fans who don't understand why we keep harping on good promos and continuity. This show is a master class in how to do an angle right with some of the best promos you've ever heard and peak Tommy Rich.

Andrew and Garrett break down the card match by match and discuss how much the crowd influenced the show. Including the performance of Bad Bunny and all the run-ins from Puerto Rican stars, like Savio Vega and Carlito.
Backlash also saw Brock Lesnar bleed in the main event, the guys discuss if it was a hard-way spot or if he bladed, going against WWE's no-blade policy from recent years.
AEW looks to be headed to a sellout for All In in London's Wembley Stadium. As of Friday estimates have the number being upwards of 60,000. Andrew and Garret discuss the significance of a sell-out of that size, and how one writer got himself in trouble trying to guess the number of tickets sold.
