About Serina:
Serina Tetenov has extensive experience as a mental health therapist, supervisor, college instructor and administrator. She is currently the clinical director of Adult Ambulatory psychiatry at the University of Rochester Medical Center, where she oversees operations for the General Ambulatory Service, Deaf Wellness Center, Adult Rapid Access, Lazos Fuertes and the Psychopharmacology Clinic.
Prior to joining the URMC Department of Psychiatry, Tetenov directed the Finger Lakes Area Counseling and Recovery Agency (FLACRA) Outpatient Mental Health Clinic for Monroe and Yates counties. Additionally, she served as Visiting Assistant Professor at UR’s Warner School of Education, taught Social and Cultural Diversity at Medaille College (Rochester campus), and was a Sign Language Interpreter at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) for several years.
