Film Basterds

On this week's show we enter the world of Monster Hunter and try not to get screwed over by Rosamund Pike in I Care A Lot.

On this week's show we take a look at hotly tipped awards season fare Judas & The Black Messiah,  the out of nowhere word of mouth comedy Barb & Star Go To Vista Del Mar and Nicolas Cage's wordless performance in Willy's Wonderland.

On this week's show we examine a triple bill of "young director makes film which seems to piss people off" films with Netflix's Malcolm & Marie, a look at the Cannes cut of Southland Tales and another look at Under The Silver Lake.

On this week's show we focus on the 90's throwback serial killer drama The Little Things.

On this week's show, we take a look at Netflix's first big action offering for the year, the Anthony Mackie starring Outside The Wire.

Here we go then with a big old look at the year that was, a horrible year but a really good one for Film!

On this week's show we head on towards our Best Of show as we look at two potential awards contenders with both Vanessa Kirby's much buzzed about turn in Pieces of a Woman and Carey Mulligan's feted film which first played in a pre-Covid Sundance 2020, Promising Young Woman.

We've also got a nice hefty pile of What We Watched and discussion of a good chunk of movie news too.

On this episode, we dive deep into Pixar's Soul and talk about the toxic reaction to WW84 online before getting into a chunky bit of What We Watched with Marc & Bex really making the most of their Christmas break.

His Film Her Movie's Jordan McGrath and Film Rant's Noel Mellor join us for a meaty discussion around Wonder Woman 1984 and we also take a look at Chadwick Boseman's final role Ma Rainey's Black Bottom.

It's a jam packed Basterds and we hope you enjoy!
