Did you have a nightmare? I have nightmares, too. Someday I'll explain it to you, why they came, why they won't ever go away, but I'll tell you how I survive it. I make a list in my head... of all the good things I've seen someone do. Every little thing I can remember. It's like a podcast. I do it over and over. I have a message for you estudiantes. You can torture us and bomb us and burn our districts to the ground. But do you see that? Fire is catching... and if we burn... you burn with us!

Wow, that was agro. Yet... appropriate? Take heed, beloved students! Professors Katie and Malu bring you a hot and fresh serving of that tasty PanEm delicacy known as Teen Dystopia Forced Love Triangle! We move bravely onward to 2014's third film in the "trilogy" - Mockingjay Part 1! Lawrences Francis and Jennifer get real and so does the camerawork and screenwriting! They really try and make Gale happen harder than "fetch." Politics get prickly and Professor Katie challenges anyone who thinks Part 1 is boring to a fistfight! Malu agrees more or less.

There's talk of Peeta and Snow and Katniss and you better believe there's some hating on Gale.

That voice you hear at the end of every episode amidst the stormy seas has returned to Film School Professionals! Professional podcast producer Daniel Gonzalez brings his raging fire and hometown pride in Amanda Seyfried to discuss our first pairing of 2021 Best Picture Academy Award nominees: Mank (dir: David Fincher) and Sound of Metal (dir: Darius Marder).
