Moving right along on our spooky season schedule, the gang is joined by long time friend Bonnie, who is gracious enough to guide them through the surprisingly dark, but incredibly charming 80's fantasy film, in the way that only Jim Henson can do. Join us, won't you?

On this episode, Ian admits his severe blood phobia will require three to five business days of recovery from a lightheaded tailspin, Meghan pitches her new theory that these vampires are essentially Muppets, and they both celebrate "werewolves, not swearwolves" while rating Taika Waititi's vampire mockumentary a solid 4.3 stars

This week! (one day late) our hosts sip canned margaritas and getting on too many soapboxes to count while celebrating the beginning of spooky season with this week's film, Practical Magic.

"There's no crying in baseball!"

This week, Ian tries and fails to explain offsides, Meghan gets out her largest soapbox ever, and they both marvel at Stillwell being able to get Madonna AND Tom Hanks to chase after him with a baseball bat.

This week, Ian gets sidetracked by the disasterous 2026 film The Runner, Meghan gets sidetracked by Brett Goldstein's chest hair, and they both develop a deep wanderlust for the country of New Zealand during the screening of this week's film Hunt for The Wilderpeople. 

"Oh ROCKY!"

On this very special episode dedicated to the late great Tim Curry, Ian goes on a psychological analysis deep dive of Dr. Frank-n-Furter, Meghan discovered that this movie is load bearing on her life, and they both agree that Frank's bed chambers smells *bad*. 

On this episode Ian and Meghan once again welcome Mitch back to the show! This week the gang checks out 1961's Mysterious Island. Mitch discusses the influence of the film on his art from a young age (including interactions with a few actors from the film), Meghan uses her niche knowledge from her mermaid job a ren fest to discuss how water can wreak havoc on costumes (and becomes quite hungry for seafood after watching the crab scene), and Ian once again goes on a disney tangent, but they all agree that this movie is an absolute gem. Join us, won't you?

Our hosts go full Minnesotan, accents and all, while discussing the 1999 film Drop Dead Gorgeous. Ian brings up two VERY problematic aspects and Meghan really wants kaaahfee and baahrs.

Getting our Pride Episode in just under the wire! The Birdcage a personal favorite of ours and even though we've been seen it before, we couldn't help but do it for the show. On this episode, Ian reluctantly admits that he misses the 35mm film look, Meghan reluctantly admits that she is drawn to "The Rizz", and they both are starting to believe that the bad guy has been Barbara all along.
