“We are co-directors of this film, the path of the Knight. The Path of the Knight is a 7 minutes 3D animated short film set in the 15th century. Society is suffering from wars, poverty, and diseases. Wanting to hold on to power, the church announces that the disasters are not due to God’s will, but blames an easy target: witches. The audience follows a knight who abandons his duties for self-recognition during this time of persecution. We use an advanced cg film shooting pipeline. We focus on high-tech, high-effectivity, and use all technologies to fulfill the need of our storytelling and visual expression. We want to bring an immersive experience revealing the beauty of the historical gothic renaissance. We use motion capture to do animation, use Houdini and Nuke to do visual effects, use Marvelous Designer to do clothes simulation, use ZBrush to do modeliWe are the co-directors of 'The Path of the Knight.' From the intricate art of motion capture for lifelike character animation to the awe-inspiring visual effects created using industry-leading software such as Houdini and Nuke, every aspect of our production is meticulously crafted. We utilize Marvelous Designer to simulate realistic clothing, sculpt intricate models with the mastery of ZBrush, and bring our creations to life with meticulous texturing using 3Dcoat.
Finally, we bring all these meticulously crafted assets into the powerful realm of the Unreal Engine, where our vision is realized through a final rendering that promises an immersive experience for our audience. By skillfully weaving together technology, historical authenticity, and gothic renaissance aesthetics, we aim to transport viewers to a world brimming with beauty, intrigue, and a touch of magic.
